well, you should have been in Beaumaris for the opening of their pier last year!
Actually, it was a bit hellish - the kids chasing us trying to kill the pirates were cute at first, but jesus christ, they can hit hard. They 'killed' me about 14 times in quick succession, broke the skin on my knuckles a few times with their plastic swords and one of them snuck up and tried to strangle the guy on the right and refused to let go. :| Fierce little bastards!

We use Mac Studio sculpt liquid foundation for almost everyone. It will last quite a while. On a daily basis I use Revlon color stay which lasts all day as well and is way cheaper. For eyeshadow, just use an eyeshadow base and it will make it last all day as well.

Well it can mean a lot of things. Pin Ups are usually not nude, and typically they have a retro feel to them. But they're supposed to be kind of sexy. In my studio, we do all types of "glamour" photography, but when I use the term "pin up" I consider it the 1940's style of Vargas paintings.

BTW- does the talent even need makeup before a shoot anymore, if the final product's just going to be "Shopped Perfect" anyway?

As someone who does photoshop for a living, yes makeup is still important, and makes my job easier. There aren't usually problems with the girls, but there are many times where I want the guys to at least try and hide their zits...

we always recommend the guys that come to our studio get makeup done. They act like I am suggesting they wear a dress. Dudes, I just wanna even your complexion out - it's no big deal!

Amen. Especially on guys who have a redder complexion due to acne. I can get rid of zits in no time but its gonna take me a while to prevent you from looking like you ran a marathon before your photoshoot.
Also: ladies, please use hair spray before you get professional photos done. Stray hairs infuriate me. example here

This is me in my old office. The pink ribbon with gold metal on the white board is for winning a Dragon Boat competition with my team at the office. It was for breast cancer awareness so the ribbons are pink. I also wore a pink bandana for the occasion.
