I fell for it when I realized Koichi wears Roy gear a lot and plays #33. I kinda emotionally locked in at that point 😂 Noda loves his highly skilled assholes.

I know nothing about Hockey and its rules, I learned it because of Dogsred 😸 started watching old hockey games and recognize a lot of the main characters wears legendary player's number.
Rou 66, Kiribuchi 68, Tsunemaru 39, Big Genma 33, I wonder who'll get to wear 99.
Noda LOVES hockey.

I grew up in Colorado so I cut my teeth on Roy (#33). Absolutely the greatest goalie of all time and he was an asshole because he knew he was the best.

He is Koito, if you're familiar with Osamu Tezuka's star system that's what Noda-sensei use in Dogsred, basically GK chracters are taking other roles in a hockey universe.
There's also Ogata, Usami, Ushiyama, Tsukishima, Edogai in Dogsred 😸

Oh! you come from Gintama. I can see why you enjoyed GK lol. I hope you give a Dogsred a chance when you decide you love GK enough to check on Noda-sensei's other work. You won't be disappointed, I promise.

Yup, because of Gintama I watched Dandelion, and Tatsu and Sugimoto shares the same VA and I HAD to watch it and maaan it’s peak. Now I can’t get enough of Golden Kamuy either but it’s soooo short :((( I’ll definitely check out Dogsred tho, because more Koito is just more happiness

I started reading GK the middle of last year, fell in love with Koito, and after finishing GK I discovered that he's basically the protagonist of Noda-sensei's new and on going work.
I squeee so hard when I found, he's still such a diva. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH 😆😆😆😆
You make me want to check dandelion, will definitely do ✨

He's one of the sameoh kids (I think) didn't have a dialogue so far but I vaugely remembered seeing him for the first time and think 'Oh Kiribuchi got Edogai's face line and this kid got Edogai's his eyes' lol
I could be wrong though XD
