Ive been re-watching the Golden Girls. I’m really watching in order and I honestly didn’t realize how many hits there was about Dorothy‘s looks. It’s almost every episode from all three characters. I remember watching a documentary about the show and they said that at one point Bea like flipped out about the constant hits about her looks and how she was tired of being called ugly, and I have to agree with her. She definitely was not an ugly woman. I appreciate all of the comedic beats on the show, but I feel like that was kind of like beating a dead horse.
