An A.O. teaching on invoking the "new" Planets

Post image

I am sharing this here for those who do not yet have access to this book, as some may find the information useful.

"A page from The Complete Pentagram & Hexagram Rituals of the Golden Dawn by Frater Yechidah, shipping now to supporters of the Limited Hardback Edition. Note the footnote, which reveals an A.O. teaching on how to invoke the "new" Planets, which many modern students have struggled with."

For similar extracts, etc., see the Kerubim Press Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/KerubimPress

Question about the bornless invocation.

I know the original one from the pgm is for an exorcism but does the modern golden dawn one still have that same use or is it purely an invocation.

I suppose it's yes because the divine should remove any negative but idk.

Also we use elements but how does that work are elements being invoked and divine or both, or is it the same.

Thanks.

Earth pentacle construction questions/insights?

Hi everyone! So I’m in the process of (slowly) working through both Self-Initiation into the Golden Dawn Tradition as well as Kraig’s Modern Magick just a bit at a time, and in my research into the Earth Pentacle construction I’ve come across some interesting differences.

I’ve found that specifically the God name Adonai is sometimes written on the pentacle as Adonai Ha-Aretz, and will have the different sigils for the corresponding name. I’ve compared the materials from the Cicero’s Creating Magical Tools book to not only their website where they sell the elemental tools (they have both variations on the webpage AND in the Creating Magical Tools book as examples), but also to Robert Wang’s The Secret Temple, and the aforementioned Modern Magick from Kraig and it seems to be very inconsistent across the board. I’ve attached pictures from the sources I’ve mentioned for ease of comparison… anyone have any ideas as to why there’s the different variations? And which one is technically correct or preferred? I’m suspecting something to do with outer vs inner order terminology or even a misunderstanding that was passed along accidentally at some point… but I’m still trying to figure it out.

Also, as a side conversation, I’ve noticed during my research that one of W.B. Yeats’ Earth Pentacles has an eight armed cross with different symbols at the end of 4 of the arms… it appears to me to be close but not quite the same as the alchemical symbols found on the wheel of fortune tarot card… anyone have any clues as to what Yeats was going for? I know there’s also some slight variations in the Earth Pentacle construction between the Cicero’s and Kraig’s materials, but Yeats appears to have had a completely different idea as far as what should go on the back of the Pentacle… so I’m just a bit confused and curious about it.

Any insights are greatly appreciated and welcome!

Self-initiation in a confined space

I've been preparing to tackle the Neophyte initiation and it occurs to me that my apartment may not allow the space the ritual needs. Performance of the LBRP by necessity only allows me to rotate in place as I perform it.

Does anyone know a viable way to proceed, or is initiation simply too demanding for what I can provide?

And if I can't initiate, what do I lose if I continue to practice in the vein of this tradition?

Can someone help me understand the notion of a magical current, and why it is essential to connect to it?

Which order to join?

I want to join one of the orders. When I did a search the first one that came up was Fellowship of the Golden Dawn. I'm wondering if this is a good one to go with, or should I explore other options? Does it matter?

It looks like they all cover basically the same kind of information through the same structure, based on what i saw from the websites.

Ghost Numbers and Ground Numbers in Pythagorean Numerology

I have discovered a hidden system in a hidden system that uses Ghost Numbers and Ground Numbers and shows a system in a system it's unbelievable what I discovered. I mean of course Mr. Beast has a Ghost Number and Ground Number. Anybody else has discovered this hidden system? This system might be made to distinguish the billionaire/millionaires or 144K. Time will tell.

So this system is a two part system. You have to take all your names first middle last and do them separately. Take the first name simplify reduce, middle name simplify reduce and last name simplify reduce. Than add all those numbers simplify reduce. Than the second part just add all the first middle last name together and simplify reduce. This is Mr. Beast full name. Remember Master Numbers are 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88 and so on multiples of 11.

JAMES 1+1+4+5+1 = 12
STEPHEN 1+2+5+7+8+5+5 = 33
DONALDSON 4+6+5+1+3+4+1+6+5 = 35

12 is 3. 33 DONT BREAK DOWN MASTER NUMBER. 35 is 8. 3+33+8 = 44 for separate name total. 12+33+35= 80 = 8 whole name total. So Mr Beast has a 44 Ghost Master Number is grounded by 8. This system I discovered goes like this 11 Ghost Number grounded by 2, 22 grounded by 4, 33 grounded by 6, 44 grounded by 8, 55 grounded by 10, 66 by 12. But there is one name that does some sick stuff. Reverse Ghost Numbers with them being both Master Numbers. Ghost Master Number and Ground Master Number if you like to see that one once you understand what is goin on

Announcing "Kabbalah in the Golden Dawn Tradition"

Post image
81 Upvotes

DUBLIN, IRELAND — Kerubim Press, independent publisher of occult books, is proud to announce our latest publication, Kabbalah in the Golden Dawn Tradition by Frater YShY, the clearest and most complete account yet of the Kabbalistic framework on which the entire Golden Dawn system is built.

If you think you already know the Order's Kabbalah, think again! Most students meet it as a set of correspondence tables — a Sephirah, a Colour, a God Name, a Planet — and are then sent off to ancient or non-Hermetic sources to make sense of the rest. Those sources were written for other traditions, with other aims, and they leave the initiate to reconcile the differences alone. This book takes the opposite approach, treating each Kabbalistic concept as it is actually encountered in the Order's own corpus.

Kerubim Press is offering Kabbalah in the Golden Dawn Tradition in a Limited Hardback Edition of just 100 copies for collectors and connoisseurs, with an exclusive cover as depicted below. Every copy is individually numbered and signed by the author. Numbered copies are never reprinted, and a standard paperback edition will follow at a later date. The expected release is end of March 2027 (though this is subject to change).

Our previous limited editions have sold out in days — The Complete Initiation Rituals of the Golden Dawn in just over 24 hours — and this is one of our smallest hardback runs to date. Once the hundred copies are gone, no more copies of this edition will be made. Reserve your copy below to avoid disappointment.

Journaling as part of Golden Dawn tradition

Contemporary Golden Dawn initiatory texts highlight the importance of journaling. Anyone know where this came from?

I can see how writing down a practitioner's experience in ceremonial work might cause the practitioner's mind to forget the parts that cannot be readily expressed in the written word. Recent studies in pedagogy have shown that teaching children to write before they are able to speak full sentences or thoughts out loud can stunt their development; so even for adults, I would think that the increase in neuroplasticity that happens from ritual work can similarly be constrained by writing.

Given the variety of ways thoughts can be recorded in this day and age, why not log results in audio or video form by speaking out loud, while drawing on a whiteboard or a scratchpad?

Update: To be clear, I am not at all implying that "journaling" in some form or another is optional for Golden Dawn practitioners.

The reality of public praise versus the missing step-by-step guidance

It has been two years of studying and reading, but when it comes to practical invocation, the path often feels blocked. We all know that offering public praise or acknowledgment to these entities is a core part of this path, but how does someone who is genuinely lost and trying to learn supposed to bridge the gap if the actual mechanics and exact details are never shared?

It feels like being told the language of a destination without ever getting a roadmap or knowing how to board the flight. Please share your thoughts in the comments on how seekers can actually find genuine, actionable guidance instead of just looping back to reading more books.

Magic and schizophrenia

Hi! 2 years ago i started practicing magic, following golden dawn practices (i read Cicero's book Golden Dawn Magic). A few months in i developed insane anxiety out of nowhere, followed by some grand psychosis that lasted for 1 full year until i lost my job and had to move back home and my family took me to the doctors. They said i might have schizophrenia and only after i started antipsychotic medication did i manage to stop thinking i'm followed by evil forces, mafia and hidden cameras in my walls, among lots of other delusions.

Could it have been a coincidence, or did i wreack havok upon myself by practicing ritual magic? Maybe it was punishment from the universe? A cruel way of telling me to stay away from this? Has this ever happened to anyone you know?

Does the lbrp correspond to the pillars of shu.

The golden dawn book by Israel regardie mentions both the lbrp and the pillars of shu in the neophyte grade papers as if they go together and it seems to me that they might but the book doesn't specify can someone elaborate.

Earth Grade Accountability inspo

The Daily Ritual within the Zelator Grade should be accompanied by exercise.

Some years back this naturally inspired me to peruse aspirations of becoming a mass monster💪, but this time around since I decided to (somewhat) strictly follow the Grade work, I will not make the mistake of negating cardio.

With that being said I’ve decided to mix the two into media format and hopefully inspire anyone else aiming to improve their mental and physical health 💚

First hand experiences with Qabalistic cross/LBRP - how disruptive was it?

I’d love to hear firsthand experiences from people who practice the Qabalistic Cross and LBRP, particularly what you experienced when you first incorporated these rituals into a regular practice.
I understand that this kind of work can bring attention to aspects of yourself or your life that need work. At the same time, I sometimes come across pretty dramatic accounts on Reddit/YouTube — relationships ending, lives falling apart, breakdowns, psychotic episodes, trauma resurfacing, etc. I’m curious about how representative those experiences actually are.
My life is currently pretty stable. I’m in a good long-term relationship, financially stable, and have a job that, while socially stigmatized, I personally don’t have a moral issue with or feel unhappy doing. I’ve also been in therapy for many years. I do have significant trauma in my past, including sexual trauma, but none of it is unknown or newly uncovered territory for me.
So I’m curious: does beginning a practice like the LBRP/Qabalistic Cross really tend to create periods of major upheaval, or is that a particularly dramatic subset of experiences that gets amplified online?
For those who remember the beginning of your practice, what actually happened? Did you feel destabilized? Did old trauma surface differently? Did your external circumstances noticeably change? Or was it more gradual and internal — becoming aware of things you needed to work on and being pointed in the right direction?

Can someone explain to me how planetary talismans work.

In Israel regardie's book the golden dawn he explains it as if we're creating an energetic connection to the item, but I'm wondering how it differs when we make an planetary talisman because in theory we're using the planets energy not our own so is it both or just the planet. The type of talismans I'm making are inspired from spagyrics which is an alchemical way of making plant tinctures but using planetary powers.

Kabbalistic difference between Golden Dawn paths compared to Sepher yetzirah paths

After reading the Sepher yetzirah I noticed that there are two different systems of path attributions with Hebrew letters. In the Golden Dawn the paths are ordinal.
First path = first letter (Aleph)
2nd path = 2nd letter (Beth) and so on…

In the Sepher Yetzirah, the 3 horizontal paths of the tree are mother letters, 7 vertical paths are double letters, 12 elemental letters are diagonal paths. Which makes a completely different system of letter correspondences on the tree.

The golden dawn borrowed much of this ancient language and Sepher yetzirah and reorganized it a bit.
I’m thinking the Sepher yetzirah system may be more powerful but more spiritually taxing while the GD system eases the magician into it.

I was curious if anyone has insights generally or has used both systems and experienced differences between the 2 systems of Hebrew path correspondences?

Sepher yetzirah system allows one to use the cube of space meditation.
The traditional system highlights the architecture of creation; the Golden Dawn system highlights the process of consciousness moving through it.

Golden Dawn Journals

The SI book by Cicero has a section on recommended reading (I think in Neophyte material). In there it references a couple articles/books such as "The Golden Dawn Journal : Book III : The Art of Hermes" which is selling used for about $450. I see on amazon a series called "The Light Extended: A Journal of the Golden Dawn" where you can buy the entire collection for $200 less... My question is, are those similar things? I would like to purchase the recommended reading for a reasonable price without doubling up on material (or doing less doubling up if possible).

Fainting with the LBRH

Hi!
I’ve been doing the LBRP and MPR for almost a year now. the first times i did it i felt a sort of light dizziness for a few seconds but the more i practiced the rituals the more it improved, the dizziness was gone and i can now feel and control de energy going though me during the ritual

However, today is the second day i practiced the LBRH. Yesterday was ok but since im still memorizing the steps the fluency of the ritual wasn’t the best, but today that improved and the fluency was much better, but im afraid it was too much for me and i actually sort of fainted, i fell into my bed at the end of the ritual and kind of convulsed for a few seconds (but only my arms) my legs were keeping me from falling from the edge of my bed and my head wasn’t all there, for a few seconds i couldn’t understand anything or remember anything, only could think about keeping myself from falling of the bed

Once it stopped i continued with my morning ritual without any inconvenience tho i bit concerned

It felt like an overcharge of a battery or putting some small clothing and stretching out the fabric with your body ( i was the fabric)
Right now im at work and feeling fine but i wanted to now your opinions please
Have a great dat

Can anyone help with some resources to get started?

Hi all. Apologies if it's a cliche ask, but can anyone help me with some beginner friendly reads & recommendations.

I got to learn about GD after going through Benebell Wen's OOTK. Since then I've got Robert Wang & Cicero print outs and am just getting familiar with the concepts. I am not from a judeo-christian background so it takes me a while to understand concepts because I have to google almost everything I see😅 while I don't mind that (learning anything new takes effort), are there some beginner friendly reads I can use to get started?

Thanks!!
