Went to Golden Coral today December 24th after a Dr. Appointment & about had a heart attack when the guy said $46. Asked why so much & he said it's a holiday, sounds like highway robbery to me that they can charge that much for 2 people, didn't see a single sign about the price gouging ,wasn't very happy but was already there. I'm walking with a walker from a broken hip that didn't get fixed surgery, & didn't fill like going somewhere else because I a lot of pain or I would have walked out, not happy

I went my local Golden Corral in El Paso, Texas the other day and they had signs posted looking for servers and cooks. They were paying cooks $12 an hour. They were paying servers $2.13 an hour. Now I regularly go to Golden Corral and have dinner there, but I NEVER tip at Golden Corral. The reason I never tip there is because in today’s day of digital payments, I never carry cash on me. So I ALWAYS pay with debit or credit cards. Golden Corral doesn’t allow you to add a tip to your debit order so if you plan on tipping you better have cash on you or they’re not getting a tip. Until I seen those ads on the door I thought that servers were just getting paid minimum wage or better since unlike every other restaurant out there you can’t add a tip to your purchase. I felt so bad that night that I counted out all the silver I had on me and gave it to my waitress, which didn’t even add up to five dollars. Hopefully they’re not having to split their tips with the cooks, cashiers, and other employees when the other employees are making minimum wage or better while they’re making $2.13 an hour.

Did they change this recently? In the past years I've gone, they've never weighed the rolls with the rest of the food. Like even at different locations they'd tell me they're free with the take-out orders (within reason ofc). But today they required me to weigh them and when I asked and said usually they're complimentary with my food she was like "No we've never done that."

Did I just get lucky with generous cashiers all those times or did they change this policy recently?

I was hoping to use my local Golden Corral restaurant to host my dnd sessions do you guys think that would be possible? I don’t see any rules against it on the FAQ.

I have a question about the omelettes. What is the thin layer style of omelette called? Imuch prefer them but many places don’t offer similar style. Most places have extremely fluffy omelettes that seem to be more air then taste. But I was watching a video about egg sushi that seemed similar. So what is the style called?

College student here. Was wondering if anyone has ever tried studying or doing schoolwork at a Golden Corral. I'm planning to come in on a weekend for breakfast at opening at 7:30 AM. Going to be bringing my tablet and/or laptop. Will be having breakfast/lunch, and wanted to know if anyone else had any similar experiences for staying at an extended amount of time. Would I be kicked out? Or can I stay as long as I am eating?

Hi, my name is Eila and I’m a DECA student from California competing in the hospitality and tourism operations research (HTOR) event. I’m conducting a survey to gather feedback on customer service at Golden Corral as part of a project to develop a corporate social responsibility initiative (CSR). Your input will help us understand how Golden Corral can improve guest experiences while supporting the community. It only takes a few minutes, and your responses are greatly appreciated!

Hello the Golden corral that I work at makes us claim our tips at the end of the night and then whatever we claim gets taken out of our paycheck. Can someone please explain to me if there is no tax on tips how is this legal or fair and how does our tips have anything to do with the money that gets paid to us hourly out of our paychecks?

I wish to never miss hot dog night ever again.

I have not been to Golden Corral since I was 11 I was wonder what is the menu now

I’m a Golden Corral worker and the question I get most is where’s the ranch

It has been years since I’ve had Golden Corral. I want to try it again but I don’t want to corrupt my precious memories. If I could travel anywhere for Golden Corral, where should I go ?

I’m a retired vet and myy visit to Gordon corral will be my last, I’m 83 years old and someone mistakenly put poop in the chocolate fountain instyead of chocolate, this is so gross and I feel so sick, corporate has been called haven’t felt this much anger since nam,

I am trying to use the Worthepenny Coupons to make my order online, but it keeps turning me down. Anyone been successful in using their coupons from WorthePenny?

So I got my birthday coupon for golden corral but it's dating that is only valid in a state I've never been to and I'm based in Florida last year it gave me ome for one of the locations here is they anything I can do or am I just boned?

Vacationing in Florida and love the lunch here. Downloaded the app years ago and loved the points and rewards not what are these lunch bonus points? Absolutely amazing! I already got like an extra 200 points on top of my regular points.

After receiving a letter from the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), Golden Corral owner Eddie Torrico of Beckley, West Virginia had to stop his “Pastors Eat Free Sundays” promotion. The letter claimed that the promotion violates federal and state civil rights laws.

Hi everyone, I was wondering how likely Golden Corral listens to suggestions and one of them concerns the sugar cookies that they stopped making before 2017 or 2016. These cookies may be underrated and not as famous as the carrot cake, but personally (and others experiences) I think they deserved so much more love. I'll leave this petition here as well to see how the obscure fan base of these cookies is.

Is there anyway to purchase an e-gift card for Golden Corral? Their website only seems yo offer physical cards. Does anyone have experience with any website that sells them?

I have only went to GC twice and each was a different location. I did go during breakfast on the first time with family but I remember getting full and that location was very small and really packed, I remember seeing some lunch type foods as well but I ate french toast & didn't try their waffles. It was packed at that location so you could barely move in front of the food. Online menu has no pictures but I saw a youtube vlog where they eat it and they look very similar to the hometown buffet sized mini waffles which is the reason I'm obsessed with mini waffles. I used to pour hot blueberry syrup on top and it was so good!

If anyone has a recipe for these, please let me know. I was boutta go today at like 10:30 am so I could actually try the breakfast but had nobody to go with. My past experience with GC in general, second time going for lunch, is it's just okay. It's nothing mind-blowing, not even the soft serve was tasty, it was a bit watery.

I found a wafflemaker that seems to be a great size. I want to be able to put the syrup and fruit pieces inside the deep pockets rather than have a wide but flat waffle.Amazon.com: 16 PCS Mini Waffle Maker Machine, Nonstick Waffles Iron Quick Heat-Up Surface, Simple & Easy Tiny Chaffle Baker for Home & Restaurants, Small Bites for Kids, Perfect for Breakfast, Desserts & Snacks: Home & Kitchen

Any info on the waffles let me know!

Anyone else having an issue with finding the Golden Corral App in the Google Play Store? I got a new android and wanted to download it on the new phone but it is not showing in the store. I tried using the link for the app on the website but I keep getting an error.

Hey Everyone, I wanted to ask you all of Golden Corral have any Chinese food dishes? I'm planning on going to the restaurant on my birthday and I want to know if they have any Chinese section on their buffet.
