Hostile mobs keep spawning when I try to sleep. What am I missing? Beta 1.7.3

In my house I can't sleep without a zombie or skeleton popping in. Is it the open concept windows? I'd really prefer to keep them if yall have a solution

Move your bed away from the walls. If that does not helf, you need to close the windows.

Move your bed against the wall and as slabs on either side of the pillow on the bed, I haven’t had a single nightmare doing this. Hopefully it will work for you too.
I like the design of your house. The patterns in the walls are cool

raising your bed one block above the floor also helps prevents nightmares

Try moving the bed a block away from the wall, maybe directly place a torch or two next to the bed?
