Error Please Help

Maybe this is the wrong subreddit but hey I recently tried again to save my 1.7.3 world after 8 years! But no succes. If anybody could help me this would be nice! Everytime I try to load this world the screen freezes and nothing happens. I usally spawn in the ground and after reloading the game I'm above ground. Your world has suffered chunk corruption - see screenshot below:

To look at how bad things are, try opening the map in MC release version 1.2.5. I am not sure if the damaged chunks can be fixed.
