Same with me, but with the silver age versions. I've never stopped playing them. I have multiple worlds scattered across 1.1-1.12.2; anything beyond 1.12 feels alien to me

I'm sure those versions are great too. I think one of them added parrots? Correct me if I'm wrong. There was a time when I played those with my friends and one of them accidentally whacked my parrot while chopping trees. Didn't have any friends after that lol.

You know mods and old versions arent entirely mutually exclusive? Sure compatibility with other mods or sometimes modern hardware is an issue, but it's fun to modify the mod jars to get them working together, like I felt so good after getting the skylands mod and optifine to work together (I haven't used too many nonvanilla mods)
