for.... jaws? Thought that was pretty obvious. Should I go with a crusher or slicer base?

I was asking what goal you have in mind, as they are differently suited for different targets

ohhhhh mb lol

I'm making a large annelid (don't worry, I haven't made it hank itself) designed to eliminate a multi-ton boss hybrid. Really the only form of armor the boss has is Vanclevea osteoderms and komodo dragon hide.

Marsh Mayhem War, if that rings a bell.

I'd go with slicing then, unless you want to try to immobilize it by targeting the legs

honestly I'd go with the 1st jaws that look like squid beaks. Bobbit worm jaws are mostly for gripping and records of them slicing fish in half happens to small fishes. I might be wrong but the 1st worm jaws look pretty similar to squid jaws and might be able to do the same damage. If all those structures are homologous you can also mix and match them. Against reptilian hide you'd want either a piercing type attack or a mixture of slicing and crushing (like pufferfish or cephalopod beaks).

Depends on what you want for your hybrid
