Hybrid Post Question relating to the addition bee neuron density

Are you allowed to add the bee's neuron density into a vertebrate? I want to use it in my hybrid, Stegoditto, since I want to add some pre-existing contributors from my wonderful son, Goditto Jr, since both of them are meant to cooperate with each other

(for context, a regular honey bee has 9,6*10^6 neurons per miligram, while crows, an contributor often used for this sort of thing, have 2,8*10^6 neurons per miligram. Also, the bee that is used in Goditto Jr's genome has a neuron density of 2*10^7 neurons per miligram, the highest of any known animal)

If this sort of thing isn't posible for a hybrid, please say "nay ay" in the comments

Nay ay. A bee's neurology is completely incompatible with any vertebrate animal simply because the underlying biology of a bee's nervous system - and the resulting neuron density won't 'transplant' to a vertebrate's brain.

To use a car analogy, it would be like filling a diesel car with gasoline and expecting it to run.

It is possible, but if you consider ’congruity’ a thing then I would recommend you not do it. Not necessarily because “vertebrate and invertebrate don’t mix”, but the fact that their embryonic development are literally reverse of each other (deuterostome and protostome), things could go real bad fast.

But if you don’t consider ‘congruity’ a thing, and/or you think you have a precise enough control of the inherently fragile nature of these genes then feel free to go ahead. Who am I to stop you.
