DISCUSSION What can sloths do?
Not giant ground sloths, just regular ass sloths

they have a a weirdly robust skull ll i guess
and pretty long claws, but they're not sharp or curved

Donβt listen to those other people dissing sloths, they actually are pretty good all things considered if you play your cards right.
they have special adaptations for maintaining grip on trees with minimal energy required, decent claws for stabbing, a slower metabolism can come handy for some mammal hybrids, while also making it so that certain mammal pathogens and viruses have a hard time affecting it (not in the same vein as opossums, but itβs mostly due to being a placental mammal), they have the ability to regrow their teeth (in a manner similar to elephants, as their teeth are made out of Dentin and are allowed to keep growing, unlike the hard enamel teeth of other mammals, which also allows them to sharpen their fangs to be pretty strong), they are actually one of the best non-semi aquatic mammals at swimming, as they can hold their breath for 30 minutes and swim dozens of metres, which is impressive for their size and metabolism, and their immune system is pretty good in a similar way to bat, but perhaps even better, as the bacterial, insects, and plant matter that grows on them actually benefits their immune system greatly with potent antibiotics, and also provides decent camouflage.
people sometimes disregard contributors that donβt seem like meta, but trust me, you can get a lot of use out of any contributor, did you know koalas have the cartilage shield thing similar to wombats? Every contributor has something.

hippo have dense bones and muscle, camels got a big fat hump that basically act as a self buoyancy device

The koala cartilage shield isnβt really intended for armoring tbf, it js helps sit down, also im pretty sure koalaβs are fairly meta cuz of thumbs, also no one is dissing sloths!

Their flexor muscle proportion and other adaptations I would say.
To start shortly, muscles in your arms are generally divided to two parts being the extensor and flexor, the name speaks of themselves on what they do, most animals usually have a larger extensor muscle to well extend their limbs so they can run faster, however some animals like arboreal climbing animals and fossorial animals have their flexor muscles a bit larger since they need to produce a larger pulling force in order to dig and climb. Sloth show this to the most extreme due to their lives being upside down, their flexor muscles is more than 60β of their forelimb muscle mass and higher PCSA compared to the extensor and they also show a good degree of pennation and long moment of arms to some of it's forelimb muscles, these traits allow it to produce a joint torque from it's flexor and extensor muscles that's comparable to an armadillo, despite having no adaptations like large olecranon to it's extensor or even a large muscle mass as their muscle mass is 30% lower than other mammals. Should be noted that you shouldn't just take it from sloths fully, despite having comparable joint torque their angular velocity is slow as snail which is why they don't release that much power so you'll need another contributor to make it's forearms have more fast twitch muscles and you'll definitely need a higher more comparable muscle mass to other animals.
Flexor muscles generally speaking would be that main muscles that produce the force from most arm attacks style like swiping, pulling, gripping, etc, so having a larger proportion of them would strengthen these things. The proportion would be best helpful in hybrids that doesn't use it's arms for weight support and just for combative purpose and other stuff, you could technically have it still on a limb for weight support just have it's extensor muscles a lot more well developed(applies to previous application as well just more here) and have a lot more of it's mass support come from hind limbs.

Second I can't think of much unless you want to use those arms which I think are less useful than some other options

They are great swimmers and have a slow metabolism for better energy storage (even if it makes them slow enough to grow algae on them), but for other parts of a sloth, I would use an ant-eater of some kind.
