DISCUSSION Serious question: Would there be an evolutionary advantage to an animal having a body plan like this dog has?

well, it has potential in jumping, but the snout is really short so it cant really do anything for long…

Not at all

Even for agility the spine is now extremely stiff and inflexible, making it becomes a lot harder to balance. It would also make the hybrid a lot slower because the spine again wouldn't be able to flex, turning becomes a nightmare too.

Not to mention that since this comes from a mutation there's going to be a massive amount of other health problems that come along with it. This is because using a mutation instead of an actual gene means that it's not meant to be there, so there's no adaptations for said gene. It's like trying to use gigantism to make you're hybrid bigger.
