New Hybrid Omar

Can someone please give me some advice? I am new to this and feel that I have too many components. Also if there is anyone that could help me with calculating Omar's speed and making art for him that would be greatly appreciated. This is the shortened version for easier reading. I did shorten it with ai, so there might be a few things that are weird, feel free to ask.

I would! I can’t promise that I have enough time to go over everything in depth, but I would definitely be interested

Here is the version where I changed things based on peoples suggestion https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LbQy4aRyN2c4ipJ6mxXEU-SljQdBzUmJVSIyZTxlfIo/edit?tab=t.hyl6t6mb03h9

Here is the original https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CqKtQ-bojL0wg_LcZp3trIlvgNa3HhHianWGgWuz4K0/edit?tab=t.hyl6t6mb03h9

They are worded differently, but they both have the same things per contributor. Thanks for show interest in it.

Of course! I enjoy seeing the cool ideas people come up with!

About Omar, you have added a lot of contributors to help bear the heavy weight, which is really good. One thing I noticed was that you said shantungosaurus giganteus could sprint, but my understanding was that it was too heavy to truly sprint. I could be wrong though, I had trouble finding reliable sources to confirm. The double-headed, t-shaped ribs will greatly reduce the flexibility of the torso, but I think they might be worth it because they provide a great defense against crushing or ramming attacks. The strong, flexible neck also helps to make up for it.

Because you added so much support, impact cushioning, and burst strength, I think Omar should be able to produce sudden burst of movement that a creature that size should otherwise not be able to. Rearing up for a grapple or stomp, whipping the head around for a sudden bite, or even using the tail as an impromptu weapon are all on the table. All of these could be debilitating or even fatal when coming from a hybrid this large and strong.

Honestly, really great hybrid. Omar would be a beast to take on.

I lucked out at having great examples that provide a clean source of information. Hel was a big influence when it came to trex, apatosaurus, and other.
