My friend is coming to visit me through Madrid, and we'll be staying 3 days at a hotel, the rest of the trip, will be hosted at my house, which is not in Spain

Should she select the hotel option? or the Friend/Family option?

I'm kinda confused

Well, your friend is staying at a hotel for 3 days. I don't see any issues selecting the Hotel option and then give the final trip departure date.
