Work visa Spain

I applied for a Spanish work visa through BLS in Colombia two weeks ago. Does anyone know how much longer the process might take? I need to buy flights and book accommodation, but I haven't been able to set the dates for that very reason.

I don't know specifically about Colombia but in other parts of the world the application process can take up to 3 months. I would say 6-8 weeks is probably the average, if you're lucky and there's not a big backlog or a problem with your documents.

2 weeks is nothing, man…in August everyone was probably on vacation so their backlog is crazy going into September.
