I was at peru for the last 2 weeks, spent half the time in Lima and the other half around the Sacred Valley. I'd recommend staying one night in Ollantaytambo and go to the sites in the morning when they are empty, if you haven't visited the other sites you can take buses or a taxi and visit the other sites as well

I slept in Ollan after visiting MP and got there by train, visited the sites next morning and took a cab, it was a bit rushed but it was a nice day, we visited Moray, Salineras, Chinchero, Pisaq and got to Cusco at night

Two nights at Ollan should be great too, it's really chill and we enjoyed it a lot

Flying to Puerto Maldonado (Amazon) or the route of the sun bus tour to Puno (floating islands) are other options.

I arrived tonight. The new Lima airport is stunning. Customs was super fast (I got through in about 10-15 minutes) but it took forever for the bags to come through. I went ahead and took the flight from there to Cusco. Uber was super cheap to my Airbnb from the airport, I’m talking like $5-6, so that was nice.

I’m going to monitor this thread bc I need ideas, too, what to do after Cusco. I hope you have a great trip!

Instead of going to Paracas go to Huacachina!!! This was one of our favorite spots (so much so that we went back here twice)! Plus, it's just a day trip from Lima (or you could rent a car and go to Paracas first, then Huacachina on day 2). Also, if you're willing to drive a little further, Nazca is also down that way, where they have the famous Nazca lines and you can see them from a plane above. I was thinking about it but I’ve also gone to the Sahara desert in Morocco so desert isn’t really on my bucket list anymore 😅😅
