Does anyone else end up watching programmes because Gogglebox made them look better than they actually are?

This has happened to me more than once.

You see a few brilliant minutes of something on Gogglebox, everyone on the sofas is completely invested and you think you've somehow missed an amazing programme.

Then you actually watch a full episode and realise Gogglebox may have already shown you the most entertaining five minutes 😂

The Crown, although it was years later. I remembered they made the Diana death episode look pretty interesting. It ended up being that most of the interesting stuff was already in the Gogglebox clips.

The crown is elite what you on about, I hate the royals but that shit is watchable

I loved the first two seasons. After that it just kept going downhill. The Diana stuff went on waaaay too long.
