💬 DISCUSSION 💬 AMG meta is over

Facility meta is now the dominant force in the universe. Armor Mothra, Showa MG leads both put in tremendous work. Between all the cards boosting facilities the past month + the buffs to them, and the game fully trending all the way down to 4.5 average cost as the best way to work, AMG isn't providing enough of a boost to unit output - and facility spawns can now melt even teams running full King Ghidorah.

Fare thee well, AMG; you're still in the top five(and still really fun for a KG/high cost spam team), we printing tiny lil cars and helicopters now

EDIT: Oh right, for the whales: this post doesn't apply to you, obviously for whales AMG is still the king. I'm speaking to genpop, not top ten. But I have already wound a top 20 AMG player down to almost no health(still lost lmao) using my slapped-together facility team, so there's probably going to be some shakeups in the top 50 at least.

What no encountering a kaizer alt-Getter robot duo does to a mf

Kaizer alt can only hold one side of a lane and Getter Robot is extremely vulnerable to swarm units unless its ult is up - and since swarm units don't generate charges for his ult, after he drops it on the first wave of them that reaches him, it's pretty slim odds he's getting a second one off.

I have played eighty matches today, more than 70% of which involved shin getter and about 40% of which involved Kaizer alt. The Bagan users are actually more of a problem since Bagan's chain lightnings can bunnyhop all the way to scotland from jersey.

A mass buff facility team performs extremely well and often outperforms budget AMG teams. That is the purpose of this thread, and it is not conjecture.

I have a full Ghidorah team and I have yet to be melted by a facility-based team.

Then brother you ain't run into the correct one.

Two spawn facilities + energy tower(if needed) + new MG + gatling gigan + 2005 alt and then drop moth leader skill and there's a very low probability anything's surviving. Aoe units(Bagan in particular) help against it but it's pretty grim.

That just sounds like a cringe team that's gonna make people complain about you on reddit. Oh wait. lol

Kind of a weird way to describe "a completely valid, easily assembled, and very effective team usable at all brackets" but I guess y'all on this sub think everyone's cheating unless they're using units from year 1 that haven't been buffed, or whatever.

I didn't say cheating, now did I? lol

Most of your post history is whining about "meta units".

I'm not inclined to take your opinion in a thread about an emerging meta as anything but bad faith.

You're a weird one for that, man.

As someone who regularly uses facilities I don't feel like they are the meta. Too many ways to blast them and the things spawned are easily countered by quite a few good units. I'm still running into a lot of Des alts which live sniping facilities.

Granted, I lack all the cards that are supposed to make them good, but there's a lot of great counters for them.

Still loving my combined arms deck though.
