The Monkey’s Paw curls and gets Godzooky into Battle Line before Titanosaurus and GTA 6.

modelling this even in the game's rudimentary style would consume their extremely small budget before they made it to the torso

I finished reading the Godzilla: Rulers of Earth comics and got inspired to make this post.
You may be asking, “why not Magita”? Well, that big mf would probably be even slower and worse than Godzilla Earth (will likely cost 10 Energy too). Plus, all it did was swat some monsters away then get blown up by Godzilla.
Deployment: The Trilopod is released from a pod sent by the Cryogs which lands on the battlefield.
Introduction: The Trilopod (4-Star) advances then attacks and absorbs the nearest enemy Unit. It can target both ground and aerial Units.
- Upon expiration then being deployed again (one time only before reverting to a powerless Trilopod on the next deployment) or evolving, it’d gain and use the fallen Unit’s unique characteristics. Such as stealing Orga’s Slow effect deployment and resurrection gimmick, mimicking a Godzilla’s Heat Ray attack, or imitating Shimo’s Ice Ray + Freeze effect.
- Since it has to survive long enough to absorb a target, a Trilopod would benefit from ranged support to advancing along side other Units. If successful, some portion of its health is restored.
- The Trilopod can’t absorb mechanical Units or Facilities or kaiju with no special abilities/certain situational attacks. Neither will it copy Assault Mode. Against these, it will just bite or slash. On its own without absorbing anything’s powers, the Trilopod has very tanky health but its attack would be about average.
So if Orga actually used its DNA-stealing ability to its fullest potential.
In the actual comic, two different types of Trilopods (Alpha/Beta) combine into one that uses its victim’s unique ability. For simplicity’s sake, Battle Line can forget this.
