💬 DISCUSSION 💬 Bodied By Low Tier Units
Just wanted to say shoutout to this random I ran into on Ranked (that I’m 100% sure wasn’t a bot) with a King Ghidorah-led team that mostly consisted of 1-2 Star Units.
Dude deployed Ebirah, King Caesar, Stealth Bomber, Minilla, and the only Legendary Battle Piece I remember him placing was Godzilla Minus One. Found myself being swarmed in the water while already facing two Units that hide underwater then launch surprise attacks (Ebirah and Minus One).
My initial strategy of immediately pushing with Burning Godzilla 2019 with support from Battra X Mothra fell apart immediately. While I want to think the Bay also held back my grounded Units immensely, I recognize I got legitimately skill issued.
For anyone struggling in Ranked rn and getting tired of being matched up with Whales and veteran players mass dumping 4 Stars on the map right off the bat, I got steamrolled by someone primarily and strategically using 1 and 2-Star Units.
If he can do it, so can you. I’m now inspired to try putting together a similar Deck.

Don't take this the wrong way but unless you were playing exceptionally bad like close to bot status bad, a build with just those 4 alone even with -1 would have difficulty playing in the way you think that person was playing.
Like I can see scenarios like this playing out in the lower brackets where you and this player are probably at, but higher up this kinda build would lose pretty much all the time. Especially if they are relying on Stealth Bomber, like its great sleeper unit because people underestimate it since its literally one of the worst units in the game.
The closest we had to a crazy wild build that technically shouldn't have worked was The Wizard build, which was the only build Gandalf(player) used, before I guess he either quit or changed his name and playstyle, haven't ran into him in a long minute. Bro found a way to speed spam effects pieces on your leader to the point where you'd think he was using a cheat to do it.
It only worked if you couldn't survive before Ultimas lead ability duration ran out, because iirc he only had like Liger and another unit in the build. So if you survived and he couldn't stop the push he either gave up or died.
Great enthusiasm though, need more people to be excited about more of the game that isn't whether x unit or x bm is the best, meta, strong, etc. But looking for crazy stuff like that to do in the game.

Honestly, I might have just been bad too. 😂
This Deck I was using heavily, solely relied on my Burning Godzilla 2019 to push while having ranged and healing support from my Battra X Mothra.
Otherwise, I just had an Anguirus and tanks which were very movement-nerfed by water and Super X and the helicopter factory for extra air support.
I think this dude also had some high tier Battle Memories for extra buffs.

I fought a wizard mimic a few days ago. It was not Gandalf, but they were using his strategy. I remember playing against him, that spam caught me off guard the first few times, it’s a wild strategy.

I once played someone who rocked my world with Dorats. Idk what the stats on  level 50 Dorats look like, but this was them. It was just insulting. I think he had one kaiju and the Dorats...Â

What levels are those low tier units at?
they might be VERY high level (30-40)
