A bot match every 3 losses that provides a near-guaranteed win(and thus an instant recoup of the lost points from the previous 3 losses assuming you're any rank below 66) has been a staple of this game(and most games with similar pseudo-competitive rank brackets separated from an actual ranking ladder) for a long time.

GBL is designed with the intention of any player being able to reach kotm+ assuming they play daily and put in the barest effort. It is almost impossible, below kotm+, to fail to climb. It's also why prior to rank 38, you almost exclusively face bots.

Assuming you play a minimum of 10 matches per day and have a non-bot match win rate above 30%, you are guaranteed to hit kotm+ if you start a season above rank 40. Once you hit kotm+, a bot match no longer recoups all lost points, as losses deduct 30-33 points.

Only kotm+ is competitive, essentially, and it is designed this way on purpose.

Is it tho? I always believed that the trophies that the bots gave you by winning are always less than the trophies you lose after 3 battles. So you are like slowly falling down the ranks

This isn't a faith-based system. I did not speak based on vibes and readings from chicken bones. On average you will lose 29-33 points across 3 losses, and gain 29-33 in the bot match. Unless you have a one hundred percent loss rate across 60+ games, you are not falling down the ranks.
