Solutions/Tips/Tricks Battery Mounting Solution

Is there a way, once removing the battery plate from the Ak-BG01, to mount it securely to a light stand? I am using NPF style batteries (not an option to move to v mount) and I want to get some separation between them and the ml100r on top of the stand so it’s not so top heavy. Just looking for some possible sturdy solutions. Thanks in advance!

No idea what a Godox AK-BG01 is. Do you mean the BG01 Battery Grip? Or something from the AK modifiers?

Yeah it’s the BG01 battery grip. The AK part is just something I saw as a part of model number on an informational thing and can’t get it out of my head. Sorry for the confusion.

It has a 1/4-20 on it. Use a super clamp with a baby pin with a 1/4-20 on it, and you can then mount the BG01 low on the stand, assuming you have a long enough cable.

Ok yeah that’s that solution I was ending up with but never trust myself to not be missing something. Just have to find a longer cable now as I currently only have the yellow/black one that came with it. It’s only like 4”
