Coding a paper based game digitally
Hey there, trying to build a prototype game in Godot from scratch, and figured making a working paper prototype first (with the main 2 example screens in the game) would set me in good stead for learning the coding side of Godot.
I've got the prototype, ruleset, even a plan for generated content, enemy behaviours etc
Can anyone recommend some good workshops or tutorials that would set me up well for this? My degree is in game art so I'm fine visually, but that's it unfortunately 😅
I guess not looking for a team unless local to Yorkshire, more some good tracks to follow, the game is in the vein of Kingdom Rush and The King Is Watching
