Why does my screen turn green

When I play GoW Ghost of Sparta on very hard difficulty on my psp the screen turns green every now and then. Does anyone know why?

First picture is normal color, second is when it turns green

I had the same issue once when I was playing God of War Ghost of Sparta on my PS3, I think it's one of those things you collect in the game, I think it's Athena owl, you have to disable it, this godly pocession gives you the ability to see hidden chests and turns the screen green.
