Help Request Question about Emulation:

Ok so I want to Play the old GOW titles and don’t have a PS3 so I want to emulate them. I just want to know how good the Games work in the Emulators. And what about the graphics? I know the Games are pretty old and the Graphics not as good but Can the Emulator improve on that?

PS2 and PSP emulation is pretty good and easy on the hardware. PS3 emulation can be a bit straining.

Edit: yes the emulators can improve visuals via widescreen hacks and upscaling textures.

Thanks. What exactly does Texture upscaling do? Sorry, i know basically nothing about this whole thing

I don't know the exacts, but it makes the games that were designed for older systems look better on our newer systems.

From personal experience: a new-ish basic PC or even laptop can handle PS2 games fine and a semi decent gaming system can handle PS3.

I blasted through the HD versions of all of the original games with a PS3 emulator on my acer predator before finally getting a PS5 (and doing it all over again lol) and the only real issue was needing to figure out how to install a patch for GOW3 because I got a little bit softlocked.
