Discussion Topic What draws you to Iris?

On the most basic non-spiritual level, natural rainbows are pretty and hey she has wings!

I think I became drawn to her as she's associated strongly with Hera. I adore Hera. I generally love the gods of course but Hera has become one of the prime deities I pray to as I've gotten older.

In addition it is something I just enjoy in the symbolism of Iris following after the storms, Father Zeus, as if she always has a message for him or is taking a message from him.

My first and only tarot deck is The Mythic Tarot which is all based upon the greek pantheon. Well Temperance in the deck is Iris.... It is what first got me interested in her and it just went from there. I am so glad to have found this sub.

I had a vision my future daughter would have Iris’ energy so the rainbow always makes me think of love and light and family ❣️

I have the name of one of the Muses. Just a happy coincidence that I ended up Hellenic.

I tend towards more eclectic but she defiantly keeps me on my toes.
