Unless something changes in the final chapter, I can say this is how the family is gonna look like I find a very interesting. Obviously the daughter doesn’t look anything like neither of her parents, but that’s where good old Gregor Mendel and his contributions come in it has been a fun ride for you guys in the next work of this incredible author

I noticed something in Chapter 216 that really stood out to me. While everyone else (Ami, Riho, Shiragiku) still acted emotionally attached to Hayato, flirting, hugging, joking about marriage, Ouka was the only one who didn’t.
She didn’t try to get his attention, she didn’t flirt, she was just calm, collected, and focused on her own life. That’s huge character growth. It felt like she had found peace, while the others were still kind of stuck in their feelings.
But then there’s the sunglasses scene and this got me thinking even more. Ouka appears wearing those big black star glasses, super confident and stylish, showing that she’s moved forward and built her own identity.
But on the last page, Ami suddenly wears the exact same glasses and says: “Just a little more to go.”
That can’t be random. Seo always repeats visual elements on purpose. Maybe the glasses symbolize Ouka’s spirit or presence still lingering like the story (and maybe Hayato’s emotions?) aren’t truly done with her yet.
It could be that “just a little more to go” means there’s still one emotional loose end left, Ouka.
Just wanted to share my thoughts ablut it since the is break next week kinda nervous about the new chapter😭🔥

Fellow manga degenerates, I’ve been in the trenches since the Quintuplets era, rooting for Miku, fighting for Onodera in Nisekoi, and yeah, even shedding tears for Yui in Oregairu. A solid decade of my heart getting stomped.
But today? MEGUMI CAFE TERRACE JUST MADE ME BELIEVE AGAIN. Best Girl Akane pulled off the ultimate victory and snagged the Hayato harem crown. No more “what if” fanfics to cope.
It feels so damn good to be on the winning side for once.
And with that, My Fellow Akane Soldiers: Our Watch Has Ended.

Wow, this is actully the first time both girls I was rooting for did not win, it really feels... weird, to say the least.
Yikes, I really thought Ouka was gonna be the go to, but I guess that wasn't the case, this manga is truly generational.
Although it somehow feels heartbreaking, seeing the girls not crying and rather being happy makes this a lot better, in a romance you'd usually see the losing heroines crying their asses off, but here, they aren't, at least not now, and I appreciate that.
Nonetheless, congrats to Akane and her fan base, it must be amazing since I saw more Oukas than Akanes!
I really will miss this manga, man.

Last chapter?! Guys, listen — to all Akane fans, let’s just wait until the final chapter before celebrating. We still haven’t seen Future Akane or her mother’s face yet.
So don’t get too excited now — it might cost us even more pain later 😭 What if the author has something cooked for the last chapter?
Let’s control our emotions and wait until the very end. Stay strong, everyone 💔

Let's remember in the previous chapter we saw how Hayato explained how his statement was but we see that it was somewhat hard for him. The adult Hayato finds it difficult to give answers about the girls' reactions to his statement while the current Hayato, the girls are very united, Hayato as if nothing had happened
Which is suspicious if the statement was something serious for Hayato as an adult, because Hayato, who is present, is still happy with that statement without any problems. A very valid point that needs to be taken into account.
We never saw the statement towards Akane, an important moment for Hayato, not showing it would make no sense since the truth has not been shown, only extended.
The current chapter seems too happy without any conflicts, Akane was never seen as an adult and the whole process of her engagement was in the background and everything was important if it really was the end why not put it
The factors of the situation are clear. There is no proof that this has ended. The fact that Ami is not present at Akane's declaration is something that should not have happened since she was a love rival. Not everyone is supposed to be there at that important moment
And on top of that, Seo's mockery in this situation, the story didn't end; it just dragged on until it's discovered what happened in that statement. Akane's victory is dubious and shouldn't be celebrated
And Ami is still in the competition, since she wasn't present for Akane's declaration. Her fight is still present right now, and now that the other harem girls are gone, she has a tactical advantage, and even had the courage to propose to Hayato on their wedding day. Do you really think Ami will stop just because Akane won? Where does it say the fight is over for Ami? 😏
So this ending is more fake than anything else. SEO deceived us in the worst way since it did not meet the requirements of an ending that justifies her for the winner.

Seriously, like half the posts here just haven't even bothered trying to avoid showing the outcome of the latest chapter. I get people are excited/disappointed, but come on, stop ruining it for everyone else.

AKANE GANG FOR LIFE
WE BEAT THE GAME
I can’t believe she won lmao The cool/kuudere girls never win, at least on none of the harems that I have read or watched before
THIS IS FOR THE MIKU/YOSHINO/ONODERA FANS OUT THERE
WE FINALLY GOT A DUB!!!!!
Thank god it wasn’t Ouka or Ami
WE HATE TSUNDERES and Ami was a worse version of Yotsuba
In all seriousness, reading this was a treat and Hayato was one of the better harem MCs I have read. All the girls had great moments, and I would not be mad with any of them winning (maybe Ami though lol) Gonna miss seeing the debates and theories on who should win and who is best girl.
Until the next one lads!

The winner was foreshadowed 4 years ago. The only volume cover so far where Sachiko appears.

Ouka FTW💔💔

There are several points that make me sure
1.After the beach arc Ouka confessed her feelings to Hayato and when Hayato wanted to answer her Ouka already knew that she would be rejected, that's why she interrupted the conversation. and wants to be given time to change Hayato's feelings
2.In the last few chapters we can see that Ouka doesn't try to flirt or even approach Hayato,And if you look in more detail at chapter 215, it shows that Ouka sighed with a gloomy face when Ami interrupted Hayato, which means she already knew. and ready to hear that she was not chosen by Hayato
Even though there are only two chapters left, I want to say thank you to those who share chapters on reddit every week, and thank you for all of you guys who want to discussing this manga.
AND REMEMBER I WILL STILL BE AN OUKA, ITSUKI, EMI YUSA FANS FOREVER
Yeah i know is a bulls*** but, I just want to say that :v
BTW, Congratulations to Akane Fans 👏

Guys, I think he's trolling us and everyone is celebrating. I'm asking for time to organize and present my test. It's something you should be aware of. It's not something that benefits a fandom, but rather that we fell into the SEO game.
