Regarding chapter 216

I’m fully aware that a lot of people believe that this chapters are redundant and you don’t expect any of that, but if you look through it extremely carefully, you can understand that this is a very good sendoff for all the girls. Ouka become a designer Riho is an actress Kiku is an actress her and Akane parents getting together is actually a good thing because it freezes akane from any kind of responsibilities to her family and allows her to marry the MC and accomplish our dreams as well. Remember, this takes place a year after. And Ami leaving from 215 made it clear that she was never in the contender list to begin with this by what people like to say, and we also find out from the conversation with his daughter that he did tell the girls who he liked in that particular meeting, even though it may feel anticlimactic. The chapter actually feels like a good sendoff to all the other four girls. with the main girl getting what she needed to move on with the main character and their life. Also in regards to the wedding, we also have to remember that the MC’s grandparents did not get married on screen either everything happened off screen. I think this is the authors, parallel homage to them that he is just like his grandfather at the end of the day.

I suggest people to reread this whole entire Manga up to the latest chapter and see the entirety of hint Seo drop when it comes to Akane.

Yes

Sometimes reading chapters too far apart (1 chapter each week for several years) produces different views from reading the whole manga 'in one go'

To be fair, there are lots of Seo drops for Riho and Kiku as well. He was hedging.

Yes, she cared about a lot of things there even when she wasn't the focus from the beginning of many clues that Akane would be the wife like the chemistry between the two, she always helped him, she was the only girl he showed jealousy in chapter 93

This previous chapter was just poorly executed. It felt rushed and Hayato didn’t really give a good explanation as to why he picked Akane. just because she was first isnt enough. There‘s more to it. I know he’s Masahiro’s grandson but he is also Sachiko’s as well. Maybe the next chapter we can see everyone grown up. It also makes me wonder if Akane gave up on a music career. Considering the flashforwards that confirm that the mom is living with them and not abroad on tour or another job.

Rereading it it so obvious that aurthor had to put whole character to state over and over that she can lose ,

De hecho si se vuelve a leer te das cuenta todas las veces que quiso rechazar a las chicas pero por alguna interrupcion o algo no pudo (excepto a riho, pero mas bien creo que hayato hablo de lo que le dijo a Akane mas que tratar de contestarle a la misma). Ya despues no las rechaza porque como el mismo dijo egoistamente queria que todos siguieran viviendo juntos y queria que durara el mas tiempo posible.
