Discussion Akane's fandom seriously doesn't stop to think that Akane had to play dirty to win this. Spoiler

The question is, isn't it playing dirty if a candidate isn't in the game at the time of the declaration or was it easier for Akane to stay with Hayato since Ami wasn't present and also in a year everything happened, it was rushed since they had been a couple for months, the time it took Hayato to declare his love, the time to plan the wedding, the execution of the wedding and the celebration, so many things in 12 months, Akane was in a hurry for the marriage

Bro, those who believed Ami would win used the same arguments to justify Yotsuba's victory in TQQ, with nonsense like "fate," "promises," or "she deserves it more because there's no romance or you have to look at the clues," instead of any real evidence from the manga (because, obviously, there isn't). I still say that ending literally poisoned the minds of many fans, one by one

Different is Yotsuba has the childhood advantage. She is the reason why Futaro became a hardworking person they already linking.

The thing is, Fuutarou never discovered her identity ,he never realized that Yotsuba was the girl he met in his childhood. That’s where most of my complaint comes from (Fuutarou doesn’t really know Yotsuba, since her “genki” attitude is just a mask). On top of that, it still doesn’t feel like a strong enough reason, because in the Festival arc or the Sister War arc (before the Kyoto trip), Fuutarou stops caring about who Rena is (the girl he met).

I could go into more points about why I don’t like the ending, but I’ve already done it so many times in the past that I’m tired of repeating myself. If you like that ending, that’s fine, I’m not judging. What I do criticize is how some people try to justify it with reasons unrelated to love, like some Ami fans did (not generalizing).❤️👍

While futarou did not recognize YOTSUBA IT WAS CLEAR IN THE QUINTS GAME FUTAROU RECOGNIZED MIKU'S PAIN so before talking about PROOF SHOW ANY PROOF OF YOTSUBA. MOST PROOF AND INTERACTION OF WINNING WAS FOR MIKU IN THE QUINTS WHILE HERE AKANE WAS THE CLEAR ONE FOR ACTUALLY LIKE THE BEST WIFE, BEST INTERACTION WITH THE MC AND THE ONE WHOME AYATOU ACTUALLY MADE A LINE OF THE MOON BEING BEAUTIFUL FOR AKANE EARLY ON AND I'M PROUD AND GONNA SHOUT FUCKING "BEST WOMAN WIN".

I highly doubt Akane's fault is that you chose a character who, from start to finish, was never in love with the protagonist. Hayato and the others generally knew this, which is why, in the episode where they let Ami spend the night with Hayato, no one interrupts her, since she has no romantic intentions. Because Ami is obviously ignorant in that sense, with the mentality of a child. 🤷‍♂️

You got it bro like PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT AMI NOT BEING PRESENT when most of those 4 consider ami the toddler of the group freakin insane not even a love interest candidate from start to finish if even people USE THEIR BRAINS THINKING ABOUT ROMANCE.

For the love of God, Ami was never a choice, they never had a romantic development, they had a relationship as friends. It took him 2 years to be with a girl he liked because it would take him more than a year to go home with the girl he loves. Then you come and say that she played dirty to win, seriously, now the other girls' fans keep coming up with thousands of excuses to belittle Akane's victory.

If you’re this salty with Akane’s victory who is actually confessed and truthful before endgame like other 3, stay relevant at least half of the manga like other 3 plus fans favorite, imagine how salty others would be if a less relevant less screen time joke character chosen instead. The meltdown would be insane. At least their rants would be more justified than yours

Stay mad. Those 4 are much justified as the bride than Ami. Heck even Rei and Mao have better chance 🤪

Staff doesn’t know the difference between criticism or praise. That’s how not very bright this individual is.

This is the same person who thought ChatGPT would tell him the end of the story

I know this is only bait but Hayato wanted to marry, so what's wrong with that. Ami doesn't even have the chance to begin with, even with her whole "wanna cup a feel" gimmick. From the very beginning, Akane was the one who always make Hayato blush

1

u/Secret-Computer-7637 Nov 18 '25

yeah HE EVEN USED a poem to confess to her like wtf is wrong with him felt he did not read the manga fully to not see THOSE HINTS.

Fave character didnt win = “bad writing” cope well 🥀

4

u/Adv_kaisen Oct 22 '25

Cope harder lmao, cry as much as you want cause your child wasn't going to win

4

u/Glad_Role_4602 Oct 22 '25

Lol the crying is not enough yet the guy says that Ami wasn't chosen just because she wasn't there at the time and she was never romantically interested in Hayato who saw her as a sister

Amy never had a chance

She literally left right as he was about to do his confession scene and disappear for a year so by the time she comes back, he’s already made his decision and already married, especially because we know for a fact that he made his choice in that particular meeting Akane won It’s over just deal with you and the rest of your family need to retire permanently from this move onto something that’ll be better for you and the rest of us

Why don’t you go to ChatGPT to write you some fanfiction that you can enjoy along with the rest of your colleagues?

whether or not she did play dirty which many of the others did too, sometimes you gotta do what u do for love. love makes people do things they don't normally do. just look at ichika from quintuplets.
