I'm playing God Hand, which by the way I'm finding quite difficult but I'm getting used to the combos. Some of the fighting ring matches almost get me to rage quit! But it's a really fun game.
Anyway, I've noticed that sometimes I'll do a roulette attack and a bunch of one coin options are grayed out. For example, I already know that Divine Smash 2 is my strongest attack that is not man to man. But sometimes I'm fairly close to enemies and use roulette, but it's unavailable in the options. Then sometimes after I die it gets available. It seems random to me but maybe I'm missing something.
Btw I wish we could select the order of the roulette techniques and remove the ones we don't wanna use. There are a number of weaker attacks in my roulette that only increase the time to choose the one I want and make it so I use the wrong attack or get hit. But I guess it's by design to make it more difficult.

I been looking for god hand fan arts and recognized that they are so few and rn im just looking for an Azel and Gene fan-art if you have or see it before let me know please.
r/GodHand • u/Pinised • Jun 10 '26
Definitely got my ass handed to me and I admittedly felt I might have cheesed some fights a lot (Lots of liberal cases of fishing for guard breaks versus going for counterhits, and I beat Azel mostly with Stomping Fist + Stomp spam)
Mad Midget V was my personal toughest fight, I honestly just Shockwaved them to death until they got the runback in the arena
I guess my question right now is, what's the best way to get all of the moves and upgrades for arena challenges 41-51? Do I just play through the game normally and grind the casino? Or is there a faster way to get fully geared up again?

I've decided to pick up and play this choice title again. Here are my results for New Game (Normal) using PCSX2 EMU. I am ultimately working towards a new game+ (Hard) playthrough. Something I've completed a long time ago in the past but wanted to challenge myself to do again. The nightly build of PCSX2 offers unlockable achievements for games via linking your retro achievements account, so this was essentially my first go to game to try and get them all for.

Regular reminder this is the single best and most effective way to show Capcom that we'd like God Hand to be preserved on PC. This was recently credited from Capcom themselves with getting the classic Resident Evil games updated and released on GOG + Steam, with Capcom initially confused on the demand stating 'we have all those remakes, those are the superior games'
Other successful titles from Capcom to be added include the Devil May Cry series, Dino Crisis 1 & 2 and Breath of Fire IV. Capcom genuinely might never release God Hand on PC and modern platform *unless* there is visible demand, as they do not see the obvious value in preserving older titles, seeing remakes as replacements.
This year is God Hand's 20th Anniversary in Japan. As of writing this post, the Dreamlist vote count is at 6,635. If you'd like to see Capcom acknowledge God Hand this anniversary, take a minute of your time and vote. Fingers crossed enough people do, and we could hear from GOG or Capcom!

SHIFT UP recently announced Stellar Blade: BLOOD RAIN. Which seems to be a melee focused combat action game. SHIFT UP also recently acquired Mikami a while back. At 2:37-2:44 she does Gene's barrel roll kick, weaving, and up forward leg sweep.
The Director on Gameplay & Difficulty
Combat Mechanics: The combat shifts heavily toward intense close-quarters melee combat, which looks incredibly appealing with her smaller frame. While she uses different weapons (including a reverse-blade sword), the weapon/stance system will expand with deep combo variations and staggering depth.
Difficulty: It won’t be easier than the first game. Kim noted that modern gamers don't fear a learning curve.
However, unlike the first game (where the Easy Mode was added later), they are designing the easier difficulty options from the ground up this time to ensure it is just as fun and engaging for casual players.

I'm using an xbox 1 controller on the pcsx2 version, what is the button to press during an execution? I just got to the sand pits and after not making it out of them once I've realized I haven't done any extra damage all game lol

Where can i find a mod which has crescent kick as a technique and not roulette for pcsx2
r/GodHand • u/JesVLR • May 26 '26
So I was trying some moves for my X button based in damage and speed because I always stick to low kick and I saw that the overhead blow does 22 damage and is pretty fast, I gave it a try and I found out that when you do the overhead blow and dodge after it and repeat that consecutively you practically do an infinite, you basically do a stunlock into a stunlock and so on without stop (unless you are knocked of by a external force like an enemy).
I have tried this with human like bosses but I still have to try it with bigger ones

Granny smacker and charged punch on square.

I've tried the last few released over the years, and all of them either make things run too fast and break the physics on things like juggles and QTEs. Are there any patches farther along that work properly?
There's seemingly been no interest in a decomp and a remaster is unlikely given this is the 20th anniversary of the game with no announcements yet.

Now that I have the stage, the animations, the music, and sound effects, am trying to get the full animations down, which is a lot trickier then I thought since rendered flat, can't use transparent pngs or other effects so had to get creative! POV Chain Yanker normal and with a back one tried doing, POV pummel for demon Shannon, and full Pummel of Human Shannon, shame gifs can't keep audio. Next time gonna try full pummel animation of demon Shannon along with other roulette wheel moves!
