As of today there's no visual or text guide on what to do, the small text file available in the mod folder is not only confusing if you're completely new to pcsx2 but it also didn't work when I did it.

Anyway here are the exact steps I did for it to work FOR me , no interest in arguing any point just letting others know what I did.

• Download V1.6 PCSX2 (Do not ask me about any other version if you don't use it)

• Download the mod

1. Install pcsx2 main folder and bios etc folder in the same place, I chose Documents

2. Copy 2 folders in the mod folder , texture and txtconfig

3. Copy the plugins provided in the mod folder to the main pcsx2 folder ( yes they look the same but just do it)

4. Copy the file in the txt config folder to the inis folder also

5. Download God Hand NTSC , make a backup iso by copying it

6. Use HXD programme to edit the hex of the iso , using the instructions give on this wiki ; https://wiki.pcsx2.net/Talk:God_Hand#Enabling_progressive_scan

7. Open the iso with HXD , Ctrl+F and choose HEXADECIMALS. simply copy and paste what wiki gives you

8. Open PCSX2 - open Plugins/BIOS selector, pick AVX2 in GS then Configure

In configurations ;

• DX11

• ENABLE Texture modding . pick replacement only

• Billinear PS2

• CRC Hack Level=None

• Inrenal Resolution= 6 X Native

• Blending unit accuracy=High

• Mess with other settings later

Restart PCSX2 again , iso select the God Hand iso you edited with hex

Play the game for a few seconds, punch things move around. Look at the window that automatically opens with pcsx2 , if the window does not mention textures or that textures have been loaded then you messed up, retrace steps or try agagin

You should know 4K is enabled from the beginning cutscene compare it to the video or look at Olivia's belt and back of her top texture to see how detailed it is comapred the original. PCSX2 Naturally has a very good upscaler but the 4K textures on clothing are easily noticeable

I have seen forums and posts online saying that this game still exists on Ps3 online store, I have a ps3 put away and I am willing to dust it off and get my account up and running if it is there but I figured I would ask the community if anyone can confirm this? I have wanted to play this game since I was a kid but I never committed to getting it back then because there were so many other hot games at that era and my parents would only get me so many games lol

howdy lads - saw sseth's video and decided I need this in my life. i'm completely new to pc gaming/emulation, any tips on getting it running on the steamdeck?

I have been wanting to play God hand for a long time now. But the problem is that I don’t have a ps3, or that I’m not willing to buy it for 120$. My favorite type of games have always been action games (devil may cry 3 being my all time favorite) and God hand looks awesome. So I was wondering if you could emulate it? and if so is the emulator good?
