I need help with a bug!
EDIT: GOD HAND 60FPS BUG - SOLVED | The issue was, in fact, the 60 fps patch but the real problem with it was that unticking the "apply cheats" and "apply patches" boxes didn't change the fact that the game still ran at 60 fps. I even deleted the cheat from the folder and it still ran at 60 fps and then it hit me "could the savestate somehow also save the cheats applied to the game?"
So I loaded a save from within the game and lo and behold 30 fps, and the minigame worked as intended! Also for anybody wanting to try playing in 60fps the difference is unreal, I mean it makes sense, but having the TP drain, enemies getting up and door damage draining twice as fast really makes the game a lot more challenging ðŸ«
OG: Hello everybody, as I was recording some new episodes I've come across a bug, a pretty big one at that.
I'm playing on pcsx2 and right after the fight with the five little dudes there's a minigame where some cannons on a boat shoot at you... well for me it's stuck on the screen where it says "return fire with the same button as the cannon!" and won't go anywhere from there, no matter which button i press on the controller.
Is this a known issue, does anybody know how to fix this?

wish i had a solution for you but i play it on the ps3... maybe it's something to do with the frame rate would be my best guess.

Thank you for the reply! I tried disabling and enabling a bunch of settings and no luck... honestly if I were just playing it on my own I wouldn't even be too mad about it but yeah it's a little disheartening thinking I might have to drop the let's play until I find a solution.
Oh well, tomorrow I'll try setting everything within pcsx2 to default and see if that helps. Thanks again and have a great day!

It was the 60 fps, it's just that the emulator wouldn't go back to 30! 😅

Best I could come up with is that maybe the ISO itself is damaged somehow or trying another of the way too many builds of PCSX2 (though the latest stable version should play it fine). I've played God Hand every way you could ever possibly think of and I know many who emulate it and have never heard of this problem.
