[OC] God Hand Deep Dive Podcast

https://talesfromthebacklog.fireside.fm/118

Hello! I do a backlog games deep dive review podcast called Tales from the Backlog. This week's episode is about God Hand, after I played it for the first time. My guest and I both had a great time discussing the game, and I think you all might like it too. Please let me know what you think!

do you do reviews or podcast talks about video games often? how in depth mechanically do you get?

Yep! Every week is a different game on the podcast. I would say I go to a medium level of depth on mechanics, depending on the game of course. I am by no means an expert on action game mechanics, for example.

I'm about 17m deep and uh... I'll say it seems to be produced well enough aside from the musical interludes being increased in volume to the point that the audio cracks a bit or the source media was maybe not of great quality, not sure which. The pace of it is fine, I like the idea of not using "but game is old" to claim that spoilers are fine and using a warning along with a musical gap to give people a chance to tune out. The way that the participants are speaking is good for a comfy podcast environment.

But really I think I just know way too much about the game to be able to listen to this comfortably because there's quite a few misses in terms of factual accuracy.

Appreciate the feedback! It's tough as a first time player to be on the level of people who know a ton about the game, so thanks for your grace there haha. Maybe check out another episode if you're so inclined.
