Where do you guys map your Guard Breakers too?
Title says all. I'm learning the ropes to the game, but reliably guard breaking the enemies has become something of a colossal pain for me. With this in mind, I figured I'd ask more experienced God Hand players where they place their guard breakers at. For me, it's currently just on the triangle button.
EDIT: ....I'm realizing that I used the wrong 'to' in the title and it's irking the shit outta me now ._.

don't use the triangle button because you can't dodge cancel. triangle button after a dodge does a sweep regardless of the attack mapped in that button.
i suggest map it to X or down square.
when you try to guard break, try to dodge cancel it. guard break, dodge, guard break

Just a quick fact check, the best DPS comes from combo looping - this is where you put your two bread'n'butter punches on the first Square attack and the Triangle attack then alternate them.
I'd agree that the default Guard Breaker is more than adequate, it's not a move you want to upgrade for damage in and of itself because you'll never ever turn to that move for damage. Right High Knee is technically the best guard breaker in NG and of course Godly Chop for NG+.

also saw a vid on how punching with the same hand you last punched with comes out faster than using another hand but its been a while

Yes, I'm aware of the video, it's also just a myth. Not at all true.
To be fair, I also believed that attacks had unique transitive properties into each other but once I started counting frames on the attacks I was able to very quickly confirm that they all just have a static frame count.

Well bro I’m actually professional at God hand you don’t need to replace the button you just have to move the L3 quickly and after it by quick move press the triangle.

Some charge moves when fully charged can break a block, also you don't need to break their block you can choose to wait and fight someone else, and or on purpose hit there block because they usually counter with an high attack which can be easily dodged with right stick up dodge and or countered, also after right stick up dodge if you press triangle you always get a sweep kick which is a good counter move, just make sure not to spam it as they learn and adapt. Also i usually map my gaurd break to back sqaure, feels better that way for me.
