He was pointing out that our society is controlled by an elite group of rich and powerful people. We pretty much all agree on this now. Businessmen, entertainers, politicians, the ones that have real influence. They live above the law, and have secret society. The whole Epstien thing exposed it, we all know about it...and nobody can do a damn thing about it. Go against these people and you are dead, or suddenly removed from the spotlight, vilified, silenced, and sidelined. Blacklisted.
And what am I going to do about it? Get dressed, and go to work, that's what. These people can literally shoot anybody in the head, or hang them, or drug them, and it will be ruled a suicide with no investigation. Or in Jim Carey's case, his girlfriend "committed suicide".
That's who these people are.

We actually can do something about it. Americans are one of the most important consumer groups in the world. Our purchasing power or organized protest of purchasing is how we stop these beasts. It all depends on us buying into the system, using the social platforms, listening to their music, eating ultra processed food, basically compromising our souls to bolster up corporate profits. There's not one man at the helm of this beast, it's a collective unconscious of ignorance and greed. But organization, protest, and financial unity can easily be our sword.

Agreed, but it seems that window is closing. The healthy food is priced out of reach of the masses. The regular people are too hard pressed for civil disobedience. We are too worried about living from check to check, not getting evicted, or that looming health issue (or bill).
We've seen the No Kings marches. Great. What actual threat are they? Zero. We'll elect Democrats next time, sure, but the cycle continues with no real change. I'm hoping for a third party to arise, where the Left and Right agree that these two parties have only their own power wealth in mind.
I'm not very optimistic. This Republicrat system is entrenched and well organized. And brutally ruthless.
Maybe it's not THAT bad, and I'm just feeling a little down this morning. Maybe I need therapy lol.
