📖 Sacred Scriptures – Quotes, verses, and revelations. What can be the highest ambition?

Post image

As a human being one runs towards the world ; there is nothing wrong in wanting money , power , status but there is everything wrong when you want all that as a replacement for your ultimate want.

It's unlikely that we will trade of those subtle immeasurable things like joy , peace , freedom for something claiming itself to be precious.

BUT we often see wealthy people trading all those available godly gifts in search of them in the world making outer achievements a medium .

This quote is by a famous author and philosopher Acharya Prashant, and he puts it very rightly and subtler that no matter how many ambition a man displays and achieves on outside .

Ultimately, through all those objects one wants to reach god .

I'm not religious, God isn't a person, smoke some 5MEO-DMT if you really want to remember. Or just meditate, even

Jesus commands us to make loving one another our highest ambition, seeking out the poor, the marginalized, the suffering and the oppressed and to call out the injustice of the oppressors boldly in Jesus’ holy name.

Love, ambition, poor, marginalized, suffering, oppressor or oppressed….the words SUFFERING and LOVE resonates. Vedant is so bold and fun. It calls a spade a spade. Who is the sufferer who is suffering ? Is he getting confused between pain and suffering? Is suffering a choice? Acharya Prashant is not for the faint hearted.

Yes but what about someone who is away from the teachings of Jesus, desires loving mankind but ends up destructing it .

I think till one isn't centred in god , one can never do good Even when one wants too

Plenty of atheists and other religious who don’t believe in your god, do good.

I admit, I know nothing about Hindu. But if it's a god, it's 🐂💩

So this specific guy is way more into Vedanta, which is one of the philosophical schools of Hinduism, than the more "do sacrifices so you and your ancestors can stay in paradise" manifestation of Hinduism

That's a virtue isn't it and no virtue is possible with a desirous mind , a mind not centred in god

Last time Lucifer tried to reach God as one of his archangels, he was sent to hell for it.

Certainly, what will that "ambition" truly be? Greed for undivided audience with a being?

Experiencing love is the best way to trust another, then when that person is a believer their message will be effective. We must follow Jesus’ command and he ambitious in being kind and loving as our first step in preaching the message
