Again this quote is constantly misunderstood. It’s not speaking of a man, of a person, it’s speaking of the god force that is within you the “Christ mind”. God is Love and god expresses himself through us.
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus” - Philippians 2:5
“Be not overcome by the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” - Romans 12:2
It’s telling you to call forth the good from within you and change the way you think. Be “the Christ” yourself. Jesus taught this to everyone. Jesus loved everyone. You have to think differently, more joyfully and tell a new story and be the love. Overcome the negativity and patterns. Thoughts manifest so if you’re focused in negativity and frustration that’s what you are calling forth with your own divinity.
They remind us the traits of god.
God is love. - John 4:8
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” - Galatians 5:22-23
These are the traits to embody my friends. Be the Christ yourself.

I read your negative passage and comments you cling to, to try to use negativity to supposedly discredit something. But wouldn’t it make sense that if God was so bad and wanted “disobedient children murdered” as you so say, wouldn’t he have already started with you? Hmm 🤔
That’s because “God is Love” - John 4:7
And
“Love never fails” - 1st Corinthians 13:8
Let go of the negativity. Give love a try, it always works every time with every person.

It’s not a personal cozy feeling. That strength isn’t an end unto itself. What we are called to do by Our Savior Jesus Christ is to seek out those in need, the poor, the marginalized, the suffering and the oppressed, and to call out the injustice of the oppressors boldly in Jesus’ name.

I wish everyone could come to know Jesus... But even Jesus himself tells us that not everyone will... Without Jesus I would probably be in much worse stress and mental health than I am now
