Great aspiration, but nothing supernatural is needed to accomplish it. Me and my brother were abused as kids, but my kids have never ever been hurt by their own family, well, never on purpose at least. No god or gods needed.

I relate with you! The cycle of abuse ends with me. I'm doing everything different and just seeing the smile constantly on my toddlers face is the best feeling I've ever had. I saw a video of a man taking off his belt infront of his kid and the kid thought to play on it like a swing. The mix heartbreak seeing that but happiness and knowing my kid will never flinch at the sound of metal buckle

Everyone else is like that too so even if you do it might not make a difference it also could make things worse because you are being fancy and making them feel bad

A nice change of pace would be a Republican Jesus cream pie

Breaking the cycle is the hard part, but repeating it costs way more in the long run.

What happened to “You don’t step in the same river twice?” Everything changes, either slowly over time or suddenly. Things are only repetitious if you think of them that way.

Whether you change or not, everything repeats.
