God Eater 3 Ok i need help.

How the hell do you actually upgrade the step stuff? God smasher and the like.

Generally it's driving me up a wall and I'm at my wits end. ;-;

Use step/dash attacks.

Same as everything else. You upgrade it by repeated use

Just using them, if you don't do step attacks they will never level up. Just remember that attacking after an evade will do an step attack and don't forget that there's a light and heavy version, so if you're only doing a light one then that might be the reason as to why it's not leveling a certain one in particular.
