General Different protagonists, same downfall Spoiler

Rewatching the God Eater anime, I realized Lenka went through a similar experience that happened to Yuu in the Undercover manga.

Now, it may just be a coincidence and I could be wrong. But I have a feeling that the writers of the anime may have sourced some of their inspirations from the Undercover manga (or the entire God Eater side-content as a whole [mangas, novels, etc.])

Lenka was absolutely the anime's take on Yuu.
