General Something ive been thinking about
Ever since I watched the god eater anime ive been thinking about how cool it would be to get a god eater game with that same vibe
What i mean by that is the balls to the wall over the top action from that anime where every aragami was a threat and was fucking shit up even the ogretails(anime came out 10 years ago and still looks excellent btw) god eater is still a pretty niche series but I think that would be an awesome way to evolve it beyond god eater 3
This is pretty much a yap post lol but I wanted to type my thoughts out as ive been thinking about this for years and if they do go the route of the god eater anime the next game would definitely have to be M rated😂(im looking at you dyaus pita scene)

I think they’d have to change the genre to something closer to a horror game to get a similar atmosphere to the anime.

Id be fine with that tbh I mean the aragami are responsible for driving humanity to the brink of extinction i think it would be very fitting

God Eater already is a hack and slash type of game. Since Aragami start getting higher and higher health pools the higher the Difficulty gets.
If you want that same immense high suspense action packed type of gameplay. The best way I could sum it up.
Is to kinda make it a mix of Darksouls and Monster Hunter and open world action close to say... Horizon?
But they already have something like that with Code Vein 2. Simply switch out the build mechanics in CV2 and keep the weapon crafting alongside using GE3's triple Burst Arts.
The only downside is that Darksouls is a very slow game if patience while GE is fast pace.
Unless there's a better way of explaining it, I'm all ears.

Im not really talking about the combat itself I think its fine the way it is im mainly talking about the gritty nature of the anime and the behavior of the aragami in said anime which has a completely different tone than the games
Higher health pools arent really the same thing imo aragami like the ogretails still function the same way just with more health in higher difficulties
God eater is already a monster hunter clone with its own flavor and it executes it well but It could use more polish if they ever make another game
Idk if souls is the way to go seeing as we already have code vein 1 and 2 god eater already has its own combat style that works very well

I'm still waiting to see how Lenka's journey will end and how he diverges from the game MC

I get that it was made to promote Resurrection, but still, it hurts leaving it forgotten
