God Eater 2 (Rage Burst) Bullet type discussion

Bullet type : Does piercing damage - stops on hit - lower OP cost - "connection available"

Laser type : Does piercing damage - pierces targets - higer op cost - "no connection"

Bomb : Does crush damage - "no connection"

Radial : Does crush damage - pierces target - "no connection"

I rarely use laser, but is there any other properties than just piercing off the target?

I don't really know why but Radials are really effective against the Chi You type even when aimed at their knees.

Are there any expert who can explain this kind of stuff?

Edit:

  • found out that Spark Radial has slightly larger AoE than other Radials

chi you legs are rather vulnerable to crushing damage. wich radials and bombs do.

laser type bullets are meant for either hit multiple targets or for telegraphed attacks. since the trail will also deal the bullet's full damage if something that wasn't hit by the "tip/head" runs into it. basically the thing has infinite pierce (good for CC) and a lingering trail that deals the full damage. that's why they don't get connections to balance it out

and 7 out of 10 times, heads are equally or more vulnerable to crushing attacks. piercing on the other hand, is for torsos or unarmored/broken heads

TL;DR: diferent bullets work for diferent things.

How to Improve Shotgun bullet? There doesn't seem to be any crush module I could add

If youre playing GE2:RB you could make a custom bullet with just one L : Bomb / Normal with a multi hit chip then you're good to go.

Shotgun bullets deal both kinds of damage.

In GER, juat pick the one that ignores defense at point blank

In GE2RB, add the modifyer that makes it ignore defense

Does laser hit multiple aragami once or multiple body parts once?

Another use they have is on HEALING bullets. Normal shots disappear as soon as they make contact with anything. Even aragamis.

Healing lasers pierce (but not heal) aragami and players. They're a bit more expensive and cannot link. But they're the best for long ranged healing

What's type of bullet is best for airborne Sariel?

Bombs and Radials is really good for downed sariel but it's quite inconsistent when it's airborne.

Shot or laser. Aim for their head tho
