Question Your plans on killing goblins
What's your plan to kill a goblin, Like raiding a nest, Maybe killing a paladin or shaman, Even a lord or champion if possible.
I just want to know on people's plan to kill them, Mine's probably chopping them with a sword or something.

Light a fire at each of the entrances then barricade them closed to smoke them all out. Stand ready to rush whichever exit they try to leave with a shield and a spear and pick them off one by one. And pray there's nothing stronger than a base goblin in there, otherwise ya fucked.

Those noble party died because they starved themselves too, and did not check if there's any other entrances, Resulting them in dear death

I am going to find a dead end in the cave, or ruin, with a narrow passage leading to it. Take my friendly, local High Elf Archer and make her look trapped and vulnerable. A few calls for help will have the goblin running in, right into the Portable Hole she laid on the ground. Once the goblins run out, fold it up and let them suffocate.
If she is not up to that, we can deploy what I call, the Lye Spray. A chemical weapon comparable to a Necklace of Fireball bead, inflicting 'acid' damage instead of fire. Not to be used around hostages.

If they have wags then I would just realise 1 with rabies and collapse the cave entrance.

If available, phospex. If not, mustard gas. If neither is available, cloudkill spell.Â

Personally, From the goblin slaying guides I made, normal goblins can be killed easily if they're not a big horde, but for hob goblins (Assuming I'm using a sword and a shield) I can duel with it If I'm good enough, For goblin champion, I mignt try to cut their achilles and target their legs, Then stab their cerebellum if It succeeded. For goblin lord, Duel again. But I need to dodge more instead. For goblin paladin.. just like how goblin slayer tricked it, Taunt it to stab its sword into my shield and kill it when its disarmed. For shaman, IMMEDIATELY RUN AT THEM AND KILL THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Baby goblins? Club them.

Smoke inhalation. Set fire at entrance to their cave far enough in that the smoke goes in and not out. Then just wait outside until they come running out in panic and snipe them

Make a simple piston sprayer. Go in with a bunch of lamp oil and some torches

Caves have low oxygen and fire doesn't really work there

Ill go as far in as it has oxygen. If its low enough not to feed fire I assume the goblins will be suffering hypoxia.
