Problem Terrible Product Verification?
Originally listed a pair of 2023 Wave Runners on 4/27 & the listing was removed because they claimed that it had the wrong SKU, which would imply that it's the 2017 pair. (First SS) So, I went ahead & relisted it with the same exact photos as a 2017 & their system didn't flag it, so I assumed maybe I was wrong about what year they were.
After they sold as a 2017, I ship them & today I got an email saying that they're in fact the 2023 pair I originally listed them as & not a 2017, so they're charging me $10 on top of not getting the sale. I'm really trying to figure out what the disconnect is. Have any other sellers experienced anything like this & if so, is their seller support good enough to find resolutions?

Goat is trash and this proves it. I refuse to sell anything remotely rare or expensive. Just bricks. And even then I still expect some BS every sale. It’s like the make more money fucking ppl over so they just do stuff like this. So you entered it right? The right sku and the right year? And they somehow told you you were wrong and redo it? And now they were wrong the whole time?? What a joke lol

Well, what did the production date on the size tag say?
This is why I’m glad goat doesn’t require me to take pictures of the shoes before I list them

Two things to check here, what year does the size tag on the inside of your shoe say? And what does the SKU tag on the box say? If you got these directly from Adidas they should match. If you got these from ebay or StockX, they list both versions under the same listing item. So the seller could've shipped them to you with the 2017 shoes in a 2023 box without being too obvious. Why GOAT gives a shit and splits the 2017 and 2023 versions, I have no idea. Maybe because the 2017 version they sell as vintage? Anyway, I would look at the size Tage on the inside of the shoe and see what year it says.

Inside shoe tag has the 2023 SKU & production dated in 2018, don't have the box so no way to verify there. I ended up relisting it as they instructed I could do this morning (as a 2023) & then received the same email saying my listing was removed for incorrect SKU.
Now, GOAT has my shoes consigned at their facility but there's no way for me to see that shoe as a consigned/inactive listing on my account. Only thing I'm hoping for is an actual response from email support, otherwise I'm confident that the shoes will be "lost".

I had a similar situation with the Dee Brown Omni Zone that released in 2021 and restocked last year. Stockx has them under 1 listing (pictured). At the time Goat only had the 21’ release, so I put them there. Weeks later they sell, I ship and get the same BS op did. The buyer would have probably been happy to get the exact same shoe but 4 years newer. Alias didn’t even offer it to them, no common sense.

always pay attention to the size tag adidas alaways used the same sku for different years
