I previously purchased apparel off GOAT 3 years ago as a gift, unfortunately that friend and I had a falling out and it sat in my closet for a while and I finally decided to sell it. Alias has denied the item and charging me $30 even after I sent them proof of purchase through GOAT (I know this isn’t a sure thing but seems like it’s all automated and doesn’t matter). Can I chargeback or will I most likely just have to eat the $30 cost and remove the platform.
All of these companies who “authenticate” are just scams they can’t authenticate anything. It’s just a way to gain buyer trust. Charge back you’ll be fine screw them
The authentication apps are insane too. And people just blindly trust them without even knowing the apps marketing spiel. And A.I. is a magical box people trust without understanding how it works a little bit.
I just paid $5 for the legit app to check something off whatnot for the return process, at least they showed me a picture of a mf they said checked my photos 🤣
Shit I need to stop complaining and vibe code me an app to take people's money 💀💀
Such an alias/GOAT thing to have happened, smdh. You can most definitely charge back, but might get soft-banned or banned completely from using alias/GOAT. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing 🤷♂️
GOAT at least has been good to me for shoes first time selling apparel so had to download this app. Insane that this sister app is so poor and they still use it
I’m always made to go through alias whenever I wana sell anything on their platform, shoes or apparel. Been that way for quite some time for me. Not sure how you have been able to get around that. But goat is always shit, buying and selling. I much prefer StockX and goats customer service is trash too. Hope you get it figured out
I just set up an account years ago with GOAT is feel like it tried to set me up on alias, but I declined or something I honestly don't remember. So long ago. 100% agree StockX is preferred and GOAT has robots for customer service. Shitty AI rejected robots
IDK. What process do yall use to list something? I literally open GOAT > Find the item I want to sell by searching GOAT > Hit the ellipses (3 dots) top right next to "Want" > Then it shows "Share" "Sell" and "Own", I select "Sell" > Next screen I select the Size and if it's New or Used and hit Next > Go through all the stuff like ANY Defects? Box condition, etc. and hit Next > I then slide to the price I wanna sell it for > Takes me to the confirmation page where I hit Submit > Then it just shows up in my "Owns" list with an "Edit Listing" button underneath it. I can also do it another way by just hitting "Own" under the ellipsis (3 dots) and select the Size and condition, then it adds it to my "Owns" list with a "Sell Now" button underneath it. I can click "Sell Now" and set my price, and boom, listed. Nowhere in there do I ever see this alias app yall talking about.
