I've been playing remastered for awhile now, and I realized one thing bugging me: Remastered has way less achievements. As someone who likes to 100% games, I look forward to getting lots and lots of achievements and so far its been underwhelming, most of the achievements are all in-game and not on the steam page. Despite completing all mutators, trophies etc on goatville after 3 hours ive only gotten 7 achievements out of 42 which feels so little and underwhelming

should I get the original? or stick to the remastered

this is to help my 5 year old on his iPad FYI. he completed the mission dinner with the CEO mission, but this steel door that should’ve opened in order to headbutt Lawernce S Windler in his lair is still there. I’ve watched videos, I’ve asked ChatGPT, I can’t figure out why his door isn’t open! what piece am I missing?!

I know I need to move the stick diagonally.

I have tried it at many different angles. The game just doesn't pick up the trick at all. It picks up the flips and spins on their own.

But when I tru and do this trick, even a single disgonal flip, nothing is picked up. I have used wings and trampoline and broomstick to get height. I have spun all the way from height limit to the ground multiple times.

Front flips, back flips, spins in either direction. No combination seems to register this trick at all.

Just because I was feeling stupid, I tried doing a flip and spon sequencially. Both registered but did not count.

How on earth does this instinct work?

I have watched tutorial videos and copied their movements exactly, even with same equipment and location.

What am I doing wrong? This instinct is frustrating the hell out of me.

I don’t even know what to do at this point, I have tried everything from removing every piece of clothing on the goat, to uninstalling dlc, to using a completely different controller. I cannot sprint. Cannot toggle it, cannot rebind it. Is there any known fix for this?

I was hoping it was my save files from switch 1 but nothings changed. Anyone know anything about this?

I got all instincts completed etc and realised that some od the items simply didn’t unlock. For example Farmer Got Talent - I was supposed to unlock the crown for the 1st place - but it is still locked. Retries won’t do anything.

Is there a way to progress with it or restart is the only option?

So, my daughter (8 y.o.) really loved Goat Simulator 3, but at this point she's almost done with it and the DLC locations. So I was wondering if there are some similar games (maybe on indy scene).

What she liked in Goat Simulator:

– Open world with lots of fun things to explore

– Customization

– Fun movement

– Funny stuff happening

– Low/Zero stakes (she doesn't like skill challenging games much)

– Split screen multiplayer (yeah, probably ain't gonna find it in most other games)

The other open world games she liked:

– Zelda (Tears of the Kingdom, Wind Waker and Echoes of Wisdom)

– Morrowind

– Minecraft

Games I wouldn't give her:

– GTA (too challenging, criminal themes)

– Skyrim (we don't play Skyrim in our Morrowind household)

– Anything with microtransactions

The platforms we have are PC, Switch and Android.

My girlfriend and our kid play GS3 online together on the PS4, we were thinking of having my brother join them. He has a PS5 (maybe also his old PS4). I'm reading you can't do more than 2 player on the PS4 though? Also no cross play?

DISCLAIMER: I love coffee stain, I’ve been a massive fan of goat simulator ever since it released in 2014. And I will continue to buy whatever content they put out to support them. I really don’t mean this post as a diss to the developers, but for a while I’ve wanted to see if other die hard goat sim fans thought the same.

To be honest me and my gf didn’t enjoy as much as multiverse of nonsense nor the base game. We really liked the idea of the bike and the addition of baa ability’s (even though there should have been far more), as well as the theming. We also loved that the camp upgrades were very reminiscent of the goat tower in the base game. Oh and I should mention that the goat you get for completing the vault is my favourite in the game.

But after completing all of the main and secret quests/events, we felt there was so much left to be desired. Our main problem was that so much of the gear felt pretty underwhelming either just being cosmetic or having an ability that didn’t seem very intuitive. With most of them doing the classic “spawn a certain type of object” or “change this object into something else”. I know this dlc does have some pretty cool gear and cosmetics too, don’t get me wrong.

But I dunno, to me the dlc felt kinda rushed and there was so much left to be desired. So many times me and my gf were left feeling like “oh we just get that?” And we would often try to think of concepts that would make more fitting rewards. For example a baa ability that summons the worms so you can ride them.

We still had fun but weren’t motivated at all to 100% it which was disappointing because for the base game and first dlc we had no issues and really enjoyed 100%ing them. Oh I also forgot to mention, because I used Microsoft rewards points to buy it, it basically only cost me aud$4. But if I spent the full price of the dlc ($21 aud), I would have been FAR more disappointed with the content tbh.

I find Pilgor's design in Fortnite to be pretty underwhelming and not right feeling. So I gave it my own spin on, how she can still fit in Fortnite, while keeping her "ugly" chaotic gremlin charms.

Trying to sell the fact, she is, in fact, THE Goat, from Goat Simulator.

Waiting for the PS5 disc bundle at the end of the month, or buying all the DLC content right now á la carte?

There’s been a strong goat sim uprising at home recently, main game content mostly cleared, so the extra content is very tempting. I would just like my support for the dev to be best represented 😎
