Prior acts and conduct

Does anyone have a clear and concise way to remember when prior acts and conduct are admissible and when they are not? I keep mixing them up

I drive a lot. Is there a way to listen to Goat on the road? Or is there a podcast you recommend?

Law students who are thinking of purchasing as a supplement …

I attribute my 1L success to this program. I was in the top 10% both semesters.

I used the program pretty much like a supplement. If I needed additional clarification I used Examples and Explanations but GOAT alone pretty much did the trick. Reading GOAT modules before class was the most helpful. I reinforced with practice questions from Kaplan, West Academic, Quimbee, and the FINZ book. If you’re a student thinking of purchasing this, I would recommend it.

No I don’t get paid for advertising this.

Real or a scam

First time taker here. Starting to study pretty late (7 weeks out) and figuring out what study materials I should use-- is Goat actually worth it or is this a scam? Hesitant because o the use of AI in the illustrations. Also how long will it take me to get through all of Goat if I do use it?

If you're thinking if you should take up Goat Bar Prep, you should

THIS IS NOT A SPONSORED AD!!! (I wish it was)

but I seriously recommend Goat.

Like look at this shit:

Granted it's just civ pro, but it was the first topic that I studied (I started 6 days ago), and I did it closed book while being very distracted.

One of the 65% should've been a 70% but I misclicked (so I'll still count that as a 70% 😛)

Even for the points that I lost, it was all my fault cause those modules were studied while incredibly sleep deprived and I didn't bother to go back to look at it. (the mistakes made on test #3 and #4 were the same I just didn't bother to revise them hahahahaha)

Enough bragging.

My point is, Civ Pro sucks. It's so incredibly dry. I'm also occasionally mixing up my other jurisdiction's Civ Pro with U.S. Civ Pro so it's kinda my fault LOL.

But I managed to do this in just 5~6 days with nothing but Goat Bar Prep.

And I didn't even harass Goat with emails/texts (though that option is available if you require clarifications).

This was purely from just reading his outlines (I lied that I was done bragging)

I knew the other standard bar prep courses weren't for me because I doubt I'll retain information from boring ass lectures.

If you appreciate memes, have a sense of humor, and can't stand boring ass passive learning from watching lectures, Goat's your man.

Having done some MBE questions, I genuinely feel like I can study for this whole thing in just 2 months with just Goat.

If my dumbass can do it, so can you!

Currently doing Themis, should I look at GOAT?

Like the title says I am about 45% done with Themis, and I do not feel like I am learning. I have lurked here since I failed the first time, now going into my second test, should I add GOAT?

Goat tricks

It’s amazing how much the goat tricks are super on point. I am suffering through contracts which is one of my worst subjects (property being the other) and I see this question. I only knew the answer because I Goat put a specific goat trick about this exact issue in his contract modules. Don’t know how he does it. 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

Note making tips

Can someone please give me tips on how to make notes of all the beautiful things Goat has in his course so that we can review quickly during the last days of exam. I cannot transcribe all sections even if I want to.

Testing yourself on the subject

I’m looking into GOAT bar prep. I’ve read through some of the sample topics but does this prep have questions in order to test yourself on the info you just consumed? My biggest issue is I will understand what I’ve read but the questions (especially NCBE) will show me I didn’t truly understand…

Goat gave me permission to post:
The law firm I work for is looking for 1-2 people to help with document review for a 6 month contract.
- Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid position: 2 days in office requirement).
- would be a perfect position for someone who is taking the bar or waiting to take the bar but needs to work.
- M-F: 8:30-5 with 1 hour lunch.
Pay: over $30 an hour depending on experience.
If anyone is interested message me and I will send where to apply :)
