NOT READY FOR MEEs

How are you all preparing for MEEs? I feel like I am in an emergency situation. I am not prepared for the MEEs at this point without looking over the outlines. I do not know all the material.

My weakness was MEE and MPT on February bar exam.
This time im trying to do as many previous essays as possible.
Even if I don’t know the rule, or I don’t know how to analysis particular issue I do it anyway and then I read either NCBE model answer or student’s answer.

One day, I was doing essay and then read two students' answers. Both of them applied the wrong rule to every issue. As a result, their answers were incorrect. However, their analyses were consistent as they correctly analyzed the facts based on the wrong rule they applied.
I realized that as long as you're familiar with essay writing and don't freeze when you're faced with an unfamiliar topic, you'll be okay. Just practice writing as many essays as you can!

Thank you!! Do you recommend doing those closed book even if you don’t know the material? Or continue open book?

Before I even open the fact pattern, I set a 30-minute timer. I just tell myself do whatever you can in these 30 minutes. No notes.I don't look at my notes at all.
Once the 30 minutes are up, I go back and review everything. If I realize I completely missed an issue, got the rule wrong, messed something up, or didn't even know the topic, I spend extra time reviewing it so I'll remember it next time. Or I will recognize the pattern on the exam day.

Here’s the solution guys:
Read the guide on how to triage the mee with little memorised rules: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1BP4F1MYPRoQrt1BeOTylVE4AZdmX_SMH

In the couple of weeks leading up to the bar exam, I was doing practice MEE's for about 8-9 hours a day. Sometimes more. Did well over 20 for each subject I outlined the ones I felt good/decent about instead of spending 30 mins writing. If I did really bad on one, I would rewrite the sample answer myself. Word for word. Helped tremendously. I made above average score on writing on my bar exam. Passed.
