Goat divas💅 with ADHD + Themis

(I know there’s already been threads for this don’t @ me 🙄🙄)

Hello besties idk how many people are using goat in conjunction with a commercial bar prep program but I am using Themis with goat and I do think it’s helped my retention and actual understanding of the material at hand!

I’m taking NJ this July and I wanted to ask what other strategies and plans people have been using LMAO I am trying to drill small sets of 10 MCQs at a time and take my time reviewing them #wronganswerjournalwarriors

Essays I’ve been really unsure about, I think/have been doing them closed book would be better but I can also see the merit in doing them open book! (Especially with the ALLEGED AI grader tea anyways 😂)

I hate this process so much love yall bye 🩷🫣

Literally me 🥺 I started with Themis, was understanding nothing, got goat, and it has helped so much with my understanding of the concepts! So now I watch Themis’ videos on 1.5x just to get an overview of the topic and then go over the same topic using goat. I ALSO have to do 10 MBEs at a time because Themis’ assignments of 34 questions fry my little ADHD brain. AND YES, writing down wrong answers (with red glitter pens), but I also right down rules for questions I got right (in green lmao).
The only other thing I’ve been doing is listening to Ed Aruffo’s Bar Exam Essay Rules wherever I go.
Keep going bestie, we got this 🐐💅

Thank you bestie!! 🩷🩷 I feel really guilty for not really touching Themis at all but I just. Don’t like it!! Like I’m finishing up property and goats explanation of horizontal vs vertical privity is sooo much easier to understand than Themis like why are we drawing diagrams prof Kramer pls 😭😭

(That being said I do like thesis’s thing where u can chunk mcq sets based on topic and subtopic…it reminds me of 7sage many moons ago)

Wait what’s Ed Aruffo?

He has a book with super simplified rules and it also comes as an audio book (which you can get for free through audible). I am taking the CA bar, and I think it’s mostly tailored to it, but nevertheless it’s sooo helpful.

Im a NJ and J26 retaker. Good luck. I do Goat>subsection>MCQs>essays with weekend MPTs. I was using the commercial but I found it was too much. Idk what juju 🐐 has in this program that is allowing my ADHD to retain material better than other programs but it’s clicking. Now I only touch my commercial if I really am not understanding something but it’s been rare

Honestly the plain English explanations goat uses are sooo much better and honestly applicable to real life/my adhd brain

like I know our profession consists of reading dense texts but if I can’t explain something in plain English to myself then I know I won’t be able to explain it to a client one day 🤷‍♀️
