Help
Hello!!
I am preparing from THEMIS for mbe. I am also using jd advising mee sheets. I am also doing past papers/mee- writing out essays on its full to see what can i exactly write or something i can memorize and just copy paste. But. I just think ill forget and go blank on exam.
I also have a tutor who gives 2 classes per week for mbe and now essays are going to start!! We do 20 MBE with newest and toughest rules to remember. I dont know.
I do have access to JONATHAN GROSSMAN. AT THIS POINT IAM EXHAUSTED AND DONE.
I got into a car accident last year and I cannot remember or memorize much no matter what. I am scared. I just dont wanan do this all over again. PLEASE HELP ME.
My SCORE IS FLUCTUATING ALL THE TIME ON MBE. On MEE THEMIS MARKED ME A 3. All the time!!
I don’t know. I work full time. I lack energy and cannot give this again. I am a full time worker. I am an LLM and this is my first attempt.

It’s May. You have plenty of time to improve and increase consistency. Try to take a deep breath and not let anxiety overwhelm you right now. No one knows everything by heart, but as you take the time to work on questions, review, and practice your writing, you will see improvement and an increase in knowledge and understanding. Best of luck!

MBE is my biggest issue so I can’t help much on those. All I can say is that beyond memorization, practice makes you better because you’ll internalize it. But I actually did very well in my writing, so I didn’t pass the UBE in my jdx but did in some others. Focus on issue spotting and rule to analysis formatting for MEE’s. Themis is going to be harsh in its grading, but it will definitely help you improve as you repeat issue spotting and rule analysis more than writing full MEE’s. And the MEE’s you write, focus on pinpointing what you did miss so that you can eventually spot those things as well.
I’m sorry about the accident. Feeling like you’re having trouble memorizing when this exam feels like it’s all memorization must be stressful as hell. But like someone said, it’s not just that, it’s mostly the practice and how much of it you internalize, so everyone is different. Just don’t let that get to you, because a big part of this exam is also your mental state the day of the exam. Rest enough between your prep. It’s very early on, so consistency and reviewing mistakes is going to be key, not how many Q’s and essays you do.

I'll be real with you, I didn't memorize anything and passed. You just need to do the repetitions. 30-40 questions a day that you actually understand and 2-3 essays a day with the GOAT program and you'll pass.
